Ok so here's my film theory about this series. I think it's about internalized homophobia? Scout has feelings for Sniper, but the white ghost scout (his homophobia personified in his head) doesn't allow him. Making him think that he needs to suffer for being attracted to another man. So when Scout sees Engineer and Spy together, two men who love each other and aren't suffering like him, he lashes out. This causes the fight with Engi to happen which kills Scout. Maybe now the white ghost scout who was just his internalized homophobia is now actually him as a ghost, haunting the others? Maybe he'll haunt Engi the most for not only being gay, but for also being the one that killed him?

You are insanely underrated, this is an actual arg, not some other famous anoloug horror tf2 stuff, this is actual horror with a fully deep story, this NEEDS to be talked about more

I've only just recently discovered this channel on my recommendations page, but this is heavily underrated! I'll have to binge the videos featured because I don't have context just yet. This is really well done! The voice acting and animation is both wonderfully done!

Since i dont have disc, ill just put my theory here (so far), so Scout has experienced some sort of trauma and he sees this trauma (that he presumably feels guilty about) as static squares and it never leaves him, however, when he tries to think of positive emotions, those squares leave (when he grabs Snipers hand he feels at peace) but that shadow figure is also a figment of his hallucinations, i think this is metaphorical, the shadowy figure is scouts inner monologue telling him he doesnt deserve to feel happiness yet. As for the stretched out Scout monster i have two theories: 1. The monster is real and is Scouts inner demons personified. 2. The monster is metaphorical and its also just a personification of Scouts inner demons, as weve seen the monster attacks Spy Scout and Engie, they all feel guilt about something, so i think this monster is a metaphor for guilt eating at these three individuals. Probably a mix of the two theories. I'll watch more videos to get a clearer picture, maybe ill revamp my theory a bit more.
