BOLO FACTORY in Albuquerque, Bohol PH
On our way from Panglao to Ubay we stopped into see how Filipino Bolos are made. They are handmade and start with old truck leaf springs, The Bolo i bought has a Carabao horn for a handle.

PROVINCE LIFE, Planting the Rice Seed

Planting the rice seed for the upcoming season. After 18-24 days this rice seed will be seedlings ready to transplant to the other fields. Papa has been planting these fields simce he was 10 years old, 60 years ago. Back then there was no canal to provide extra water to help the sprouting process.

We were passing through Albuquerque, Bohol on the way to Panglao when we decided to stop to visit one of the oldest producers of Asin Tibol, one of the rarest salts in the world. The people were friendly and invited us in to see the process. The video is mostly in the Bisaya language but if you have any questions just ask in the comment section below.

This is our first rice harvest of the year. We bring in about 40 workers for 2 days to cut and mill the rice. Of course, we also feed the workers as that is customary here in the Philippines because you want happy workers with full bellies. Filmed in 4K on a GoPro11. @mikeshow.....Philippines

We take a motorbike ride to Danao Adventure park from Carmen, Bohol. The route takes us through the mountains for a beautiful and scenic ride. Kwek-Kwek is a Filipino street food made with a Quail egg which is bttered and fried. I was walking to the pier when i encountered a street vendor selling Kwek-Kwek outside of their house. I had just eaten breakfast so i bought some for the kids. Filmed on a GoPro11 in 4K @mikeshow.....Philippines

Not the biggest market but close to where I lived at that time. People on Panglao seem to prefer to eat out rather than cook their own food.

haha. yes, but it is nice to have a place to get quality essential items with a warranty. the refrigerator we bought on Lazada only lasted 3 weeks and we had to drive 35 minutes to send it back.

yes, i saw the old smaller Clemer boat going the other direction. we left Cebu at 4:30 pm and arrived at 6:30pm. yes that was the last trip of the day. amping!

You know you could ride your bike to Tubigon and take the Fastcat, much shorter trip 1 1/2 hrs only.
yeah that was the original plan but we figured why not relax on the boat rather than ride to Tubigon and then ride again to Barili. missed the Fastcat on the way home and took Clemer to Gatafe. amping!

they called it tourist class or air conditioned accommodatios. that is where we were. the seats were very comfortable and it had free charging stations. amping!
