I also use graphite in modeling to make edges shine. However I use graphite dry lubricant powder and dry brush. A little goes a long way. You can also mix graphite and black quick shade for oil spots as it holds a rainbow metallic shine after drying. Great video!

Good news is that Gods of War: Lee is basically based just like Altar of Freedom, so if you decide to check it out you are golden ;)

The patrols are part of the setting up the game in Gods of War: Robert E. Lee system. They can be just markers, but miniatures are much nicer. This is a whole little interesting game by itself - first, you set up your patrols (they have numbers underneath) - some represent your army units, some are just patrols, then you both move them alternately according to rules and when they come into a certain distance from your patrols both your and their patrol gets revealed, and if it is just a patrol it disappears, but if it's a unit you set it up where the patrol was. Really neat thing :)

Funny, I just ordered ACW miniatures from GM to get back into 6mm ACW. I'm usually a stict baccus collector, but I'm really surpised by the quality of the miniatures from GM!

As for the stubs left on the sides you were talking about, they can be removed with a few light strokes with a fine (very fine) hobbyists file.

Hi, I noticed a couple of things, Defensive Fire is done by Artillery OR Infantry . When Preponcher was attacked a 2-1 Odds would have taken 2 off of the Die Roll Cheers

I think this is too Rules heavy for me, prefer the Hexasim Games

Ok you caught the mistakes I saw in the last Episode sorry Interesting about the other Games, I have Ligny and Quatre Bras and don’t know if I can justify buying more Games to my Wife lol

Thank you again, can I point out something that I think is wrong? The Prince of Orange can Rally up to 4 Stacks within his Command Range but can only activate the number of Stacks up to his Tactical Rating, in this case 1. Enjoying the play through as I haven’t worked up to the Big One yet

Enjoying your play through, I think when you advance after Combat then only 1 Infantry Unit can advance. Am playing Scenario 3 myself

I'm currently playing scenario 1 of Quatre Bras. Excellent. Really, really love this system. Still learning it but am having a blast.

A note on Infantry fire -- the two important elements are the frontage in the hex, and the effectiveness of stand-off small-arms fire. For the former, you may have 3000 infantry in the hex, but far, far fewer than that will be able to fire; for the latter, Shock combat represents fire at very close and lethal distances -- not Infantry fire from an adjacent hex. The designer notes that one could add a -1 DRM for firing from 3 or more adjacent hexes, but that special one-off rules such as this, are "not in the spirit of the game system."

Great little replay! However, you should have taken a step loss on 2/505, and the ENG result in Nijmegen was NOT a step loss for either side.

Wouldn't the defender choosing to take the attackers step loss choose to flip the 4-5-3 unit rather than a 3-3-3?

Excellent. Best Napoleonic games IMO. I really like your leader activation tracker. Is that available on BGG or somewhere for download. That is a nice tool
