Just got the black one. Very disappointed. For the first time in 30 years I have not received a Cold Steel knife razor sharp. Blunt as a butter knife :-( I was going to get the new Karve, but I won't now :-(

I love the little finger dance until you ultimately realized "Nope. Fingers stay behind the guard." That made me genuinely laugh. I'll always have a hard time buying fixed blades from the big companies (there's just too many great small/local makers out there), but i really like this. I cant believe they've made at least 2k of them, already!

I like that knife but I wish it had a Kydex sheath so I could carry it on my belt in a horizontal position. I do not like to pocket carry.

The video is very helpful to me. I had looked at the Unmei by RMJ and finally decided to buy it. However, seeing the knife here, it does not appear nearly as wide a blade, as I expected, thankfully. Plus, I like the guard on the UCAP better. That tipped the balance. The blade length is almost the same, and I like the handle width more on UCAP.

How hard is this knife to carry if your skinny, I’ve been eyeballing the m2m as replacement edc.

I use my fieldtac alot. I'm in Canada, do you find the Nitro V rusts easier than other blade steels? I have rust marks on my knife and have to oil it to minimize rust.
