I have this duo. I also got these at a good price 4yrs ago. You're right R2 feels a bit cheap but after a while you forget about it because he does look good. C3po just looks and feels amazing.

I have the Batman Batsuit v.7.43, and also want this. Mostly the battledamaged one. The prestige is unlocked when competing 240% of the game. 120% in both game and new game+.

No I don’t regret it one bit! Still in love with them and the only 1/4 scales I’m collecting now, most my collection consists of 1/3. But shogun is still one of my favourites in my who collection today. I only collect Batman related statues. And same here dying for them to make a Mr freeze samurai and killer croc looks pretty badass! I just recently picked out Nightwing, I currently has 5 samurai pieces in my collection and picked them all up this year in secondary market.

hello, thanks for taking the time to film and post this video. It’s now September and noting how everyone felt about the silver colouring I wondered how you feel about P1 rereleasing this as a darker, 100 unit Limited Edition? I have the normal P1 Kilmer in the Panther Suit with Gadget Wall which I really like but hated this silver one and passed on Robin also. Having said that, I have just pre-ordered this ‘Night Colour’ Sonar Suit and would appreciate your thoughts. Personally, I’ve been quite pissed off with P1, I bought their 89 Batman/Bruce Wayne duo which is only now about to ship…but a few month’s later they released a Half Scale 89 Batman which I would have loved instead to stand with my half scale Knightmare Batman. They’re resorting to dirty tricks, shipping gouging, expiring reward points ect….so much so I chose JND’s Pfiffer Catwoman Duo as this year’s big purchase… Anyway, thanks for the upload. Spider

Fun fact on why the 89 bat symbol is different. Some idiot producer said that if they used the original bat symbol, people wouldn't help seeing a face in the negative space. If you try VERY hard you can invert the shape in your mind and see two eyes droopy and pointy teeth. You'd have to REALLY want to see it, and it was of course nonsense. The end result however was they had to add the little feet to the middle point so it looks more like an actual bat, and would break up the shape. It was just a ridiculous edit from a suit.

I surprisingly actually like the way this suit looks. I know it's gotten a lot of hate, but I think it's a unique piece with a great pose and a great sculpt of Kilmer. Val was actually a really good, underrated Batman/Bruce Wayne. He just didn't have the best material to work with as far as direction and production.

If I had spent money on this statue, I'd be pretty upset. The face is just off-it doesn't resemble Viggo Mortensen at all. It's almost laughable. Especially at the insane premium they charge for 1/4 scale statues....

Fantastic review and addition to your collection buddy. This looks great and I love the detailing throughout with the red burned side and suit texture. The blue version is probably my favourite to be honest and I LOVE the paint variation where it meets the regular flesh. So good!

The Suit/Body, the right Hand with the Tommy-Gun and the second Headsculpt is amazing, way better then Tweeterhead. Only the Base is better on the Tweeterhead-Version. Not a Fan of the first Headsculpt and both left Hands with the Coins. The Paint on both is pretty bad IMHO. If those would be better, this would be a perfect Two-Face.

The Val Kilmer " Batman Forever" figurine looks nice designed. Very nice. They should have a Michael Keaton 1989 Batman figurine this size.
