Still a light water reactor. I would call this a pre-model T reactor. It's still a low temperature reactor which is not really useful for industry or storage of power as heat. In my opinion true development of economical nuclear power will depend on the development of molten salt reactors. With low pressure, high temperature operation and potential economical construction these reactors once developed should be the Henry Ford of nuclear power development.
