If you step so close to a riverside to bail some water into your cooking pot it would be smart to fix a thin rope to the pot's handle to be able scooping water without being endangered falling into the water. One false step and you'll be in serious trouble if you take a bath in that cold conditions.

We used to build a fire when we were kids and out camping that has several names but the most used is probably "upside down fire" in 2 towers next to each other. Very little maintenance and last a good while depending on height. Its either this or the 3 logs-pyramid one (2 logs bottom and one on top in middle) that i find to be best since its barely no maintenance on this either.

Бред , 40км прошёл по лесу на лыжах сил не будет строить балаган. Зимовку ставишь летом а так в просто отдых в спальнике и дальше в путь к зимовью
