Hello! She was drying the paint. The transfers have to be applied to dry paint.

Yes you can roll it if you want to. The DIY paint is thick so you might still need a bit of water … you would have to try it and see if the paint moves easily as you paint. Good luck with your project!

I have not had any problems with cracking… I use the DIY paint by Debi’s Design Diary. To seal this I lightly sprayed on a water based sealer (don’t brush it on) and then after a day I used clear wax over that. Thanks for watching!

Thank you! We do use it to sit on, it’s in my workshop. I’m not sure about acrylic paint as I’ve only ever used the clay based paint on furniture and vinyl (DIY Paint by Debis design Diary. You could definitely try to paint the image on yourself instead of decoupage paper. Good luck with your project!

I was giving an idea and a tutorial on how to do the technique. You can do it on a single stool, a pair, or several. This is a regular size counter height stool and you can sit on it…I actually have several single mismatched boho stools and love them… everyone has different tastes. Thanks for watching!

I usually do spray it first, but have done it both ways with good results. I prefer to spray it, but only very lightly so you don’t over saturate the paper and pigments. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! It actually can be used a second time when you imbed it into paint! However if you use the liquid patina it actually seals the inlay pigments (since it’s a sealer) and won’t give much of a second use.

Sonnet showed it on a live and it worked the second time.

Yes with DIY Paint you should be able to paint directly over it without priming. If you are using the DIY Golden ticket liquid patina keep in mind it is opaque (more like a sealer than a paint)so you can see through it unless you use several coats.
