Banning pike angling during the summer is the way to go. Feels like the club are looking after them
@Edge-of-Reason our summers arnt overly hot as long as the pike are dealt with swiftly and carefully lure fishing in summer is no problem.

Dunno how you can fish those holes in the ground, mate... get away from those carp-wranglers and get you down to a river or a decent sized lake ... peace and tranquility, mate... 🙄😂 We don't really have much at all in the way of "commercials" here... a few scattered across the country ... with their stupid rules and regs... "no fishing off the top"😆 My local lake is Lough Gara here on the west of Ireland, over a thousand acres !... and very little bankside access too !... I don't know if its just the camera mate but yer trebles look very heavy ?.. I use #6 or #8 Owner or Fox fine wire semi-barbed trebles... the finer the wire the easier to pierce the boney mouth of the pike... smaller hooks are less visable too.. Can't beat a bit of early morning piking to clear the head... 😉 Sub and a like, mate ! Tight Lines !! 🎣 😎👍☘️🍻
