A Little EXperience on Science
I have a new website! Visit alexonscience.com.
I also have a BTD6 creator code: alexos
Science is like second nature to me. Once, after days of working on essays and test scores, I told my aunt that I was going to take a break. My aunt expressed her utmost sympathies and asked what I would like to do. Would I like to take some time off from school? How about a trip to the amusement park?
“No, I want to read about programming, linear algebra, and economics.”
Let us draw the curtain of charity over the rest of the scene.
What can I say? I have weird hobbies.

ChatGPT Does Not Think Like You
I once heard someone say that ChatGPT thinks just like you. You look at some words like "What's the capital of France?" and figure out the most likely words to come next. That's almost true. Except... ChatGPT doesn't think.
Thanks to Steve for providing me with the example in the video!

Secret Paths in Pascal's Triangle
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.Год назад
If you calculate the probability of getting a random test score, the result is exactly equal to the numbers in Pascal's triangle! Why is that? Paths! Thanks to Rebecca Wu and Catherine Hu for helping with the script. Music: When You're Not Looking by Nathan Moore #some3
How to Solve the Liar Paradox
Просмотров 9 тыс.2 года назад
Most paradoxes either stem from the misunderstanding of a topic, or aren't really paradoxes. However, here is a paradox that seems to contradict logic itself. What's going on here? And what does the liar paradox have to do with computer science? #some2
VPNs Do NOT Protect Your Data
Просмотров 5772 года назад
Ah yes, VPNs. Every RUclipsr seems to tell you that you have to buy one to stay safe online. That is not true. I repeat, that is NOT true. VPNs do not protect your data online. Instead, they have a very different purpose. I've been wanting to make this video for a while now, but I kept putting it off. That was when another channel uploaded a video with the same idea. So... oops. I still had a l...

Guardians of the Internet: Encryption
Просмотров 2834 года назад
You probably take the internet for granted. Sure hackers exist, but you assume it is relatively hard to gain access to your private information. But if you think about it, why should this be the case? After all, your data is all sent straight in the open. How did the clever designers of our internet manage to keep hackers from reading data that is broadcast to the world? Clip source: Kung Fu Pa...
How Will the Good AI Turn Against Us?
Просмотров 1755 лет назад
Why are so many smart people like Elon Musk who are worried about artificial intelligence taking over the world? We create the robots, so why would they turn against us? Well, it turns out it is more complicated than that... This is a really good post, read it! On waitbutwhy.com Tim Urban explains in a two-part series why we should be anxious (not panicked) about AI. It's also very entertaining...

For more interesting stuff on AI, please check out the "Wait how can I be reading this why isn't everybody talking about it" post on WaitButWhy, it's highly readable and very funny (if you don't laugh once while reading it, I'm a chom-chom), but also very very very very very very serious because it concerns our future (yeah I think that's very serious). Detecting the Tiny Gravitational Waves
Просмотров 3808 лет назад
LIGO explained using stick figures. Why are gravitational waves so hard to detect, and how did we detect them?
cutie
yeah i should prob study for my math final instead of watching this..😶
All player 3s assemble!
Thank you for your efforts friend
banana market valuable banana or more banana
4 years of college math for this 😭😭😭
Isn't this what math is for? Playing video games better?
Good video! I'll watch it later.
I am become Mathematician, destroy of bloons
Okay that's quite good lol
@ISAB
Casually flexing the UCS Ornothopter in the background
Oh yeah now that you mention it, it's basically a UCS... Though more mechanism focused than display focused
Bro gave us a lecture on compound interest
I’m just gonna fix the title here: E does not equal g over c. It equals mass times the speed of light.
Squared!
I have never played bloons in my life
And then there is bottom path village for discounts, incresed production and monkeyopolis, and if you feel really spicy you can include merchantmen, favord traders and trade empire and their interaction with central market. And then there is Bens interaction with banks.
Monkey-nomics (2 ability/round) has the faster ROI??? damn... I should make it my first tier 5 farm everytime
In late rounds for sure, but I don't like having to click the ability lol. I guess I need to use tech bot
sell value column? 2-0-3 farms are used before level 40 as they can be sold early and 4-2-0 or 5-2-0 farms are used when you can keep them for 20 or more rounds. guess i should be using 0-4-0 and use loans continually. Thanks for the spreadsheet
This guy is the best
Some other factors to include: - Monkey Knowledge can impact some numbers (when you have them) - You can sell banana farms to Mix and Match, so that you can get banana farms earlier. (For example, you can get two 2-0-0, upgrade one to 2-0-2 for higher sell-value, and then upgrade the other one to 2-0-3) - Benjamin gives a massive buffs to banks - Income unrelated to banana farms (such as bloons popped, buffs to other banana farms or money makers, such as the synergy between Merchants and the marketplace)
Ok mister banana Nobel but how do I increase my money in chimps huh ?
Damn bros flexing with math and the ornithopter
If yall put this much energy into school, you’d be a straight a student😭😂😂
The video was great! One thing I would add is maybe a gentle background music, just to fill in the quiet void. Everything else was 💯
Thanks! For the compliment and the suggestion! I've heard a few people say that. In my last video I actually got feedback that the background music was too loud, so I think I overcorrected on this one lol
I have never played this game and this popped up in my recommendeds I am so intrigued by the mathematics of banana farms in a game about monkeys shooting bloons
Why am I getting Btd6 stuff on youtube?! I hate the 3d visuals in that game and I play bloons td 5. Why does btd6 keep haunting me
what about the cash generation from boats compared to farms
Yo man You gave us information that Btd6 players should know thanks man🙏
15:12 Math is Life
I needed this video. I go mostly with banks due to ease of use but now i know im wasting my time
Just saying, just use some Linear programming models and you should be fine.
"Valuable Bananas is Trash" has one major exception: with the appropriate Monkey Knowledge, 0-2-3 Farms outperform 2-0-3 Farms by 4%. That's the only time I can think of where X-2-X outperforms 2-X-X.
I study math in school just for counting in games
Great video!
after this video, i must get better at math so i can get better at btd6
wena hermano!
Bro thought I wouldn’t notice 0:50
Why the cut?
"valuable bananas is trash" and yet the 4-2-0 is literally at the top of the list
You can actually make custom boss challenges yourself through the boss menu, so you could've used that to get boss footage with farms
immune is a good ass book
you are the most asian person ive ever seen
This is the most genius, educational video, in the history of Earth.
As a completely unbiased party, I agree
This is so autistic i love it
very interesting, however, how does benjamin come into play? or for that matter, monkey buckaneer?
I look forward to the incorporation of the 0-0-2 monkey village discount and how selling off 2-2-0 farms to get 3-2-0 farms and selling those to get 4-2-0 ones etc affects the numbers...
What about Benjamin's +5% bank income?
I didn’t know I needed this video until it popped up on my recommended😂 I have a masters in math and love btd6. Glad I can skip doing my own math now cause I know I would have ended up doing pretty much this, though definitely not quite as thoroughly. Thank you for this!
I watched this video well taking a dump
I was dying to find out which farm was the best one and trial and error method was not really concrete for me. Thank you!
20:25 can you not treat IMF like a bank with a negative delta value? What epsilon goes with it?
ultimately the sheer inefficiency of valuable bananas is worth it as banks are very effecient
or if going top path, the 30% more money from the crosspath pays for itself after at most 11 rounds with a 3-2-0. 6 extra per banana, 16 bananas a round = an extra 96 cash so make like over 1000 and its paid off and every round after that profits while other crosspaths offer no profit
