We love British Shorthair cats, our cattery is called SnowCastle Cats that used to be in England. We registered with GCCF. We now live in Thailand.
I post regular cat videos of their lives. I hope you will enjoy seeing them. Join our fun life with lots of Kitten Cuddles.
THE BREED
The British Shorthair Cat
They are a pedigree cat with a striking stocky body, thick coat and wide broad face. You will have seen the British Blue that has a grey coat and amazing orange eyes. There are several other types of colours though such as Lilac Torties ( See our cat Britney)
This is a very old cat breed and super popular in the UK. But you won't see many walking around the streets or outside as they are so expensive they would easily get stolen! They make great house pets though so they don't need to go outside and face dangers and road traffic. They do love a secure garden though and will enjoy a bit of fresh air and sunshine. Just remember to give them shade

Leo's wriggles too... and he meows every time. Fortunately I'm v quick at clipping but he can become very stroppy with a sour-puss face. Lots of 'good boy' reassurances always help and if necessary the occasional 'lifting Simba' move too when I turn him around and say "the quicker we do this, the sooner it'll be over" hehe :)

Yes my cat doesn’t climb as much now he’s getting older. He’s 14 now. Last winter he stayed inside all the time even though he has a catio.
That's a good old age!
Our elderly calico that we took in when my mother passed likes to climb now. We got two kittens so she wants to get away from them 😂!
I love Cats, especially British short hair but I can't buy it in Pakistan, because there is no pure breed in Pakistan.

Don’t you think she is eating too much. I also have a BS four years old and The Vet tells me she’s fine at the most 5.5 kgs👍🏼 She eats 60g/day croquets small quantities at a time, and half a can of 75g in the morning.Since the breed tends to eat too fast, she has 2 dog’s plate in different rooms and has to use her paw to get the croquettes out😀 We live in Switzerland 🇨🇭 Enjoy Thailand😘
