On all difficulties below Deadly Obsession, the game will have these auto save checkpoint things. This happens quite frequently so you don't lose much progress if you mess up. On Deadly Obsession, you can only save your game by being at a bonfire, making death incredibly punishing. I only showed the combat portion, but it even makes you do all the beginning puzzles over again if you die.

Yes it is quite a bit harder in the official Critical Mode. I still haven't beaten them yet. The main reason it is harder is because you and your allies take a lot more damage on the official Crit, than on the Beta Crit. This means Riku and Mickey die way more often, which will force all the bosses on you at once.

Well, it is enjoyable, i currently love the critical mode level 1 run i am doing... Up to kingdom corona i died over 70-80 times but ok. In the normal critical mode i have died a total of 37 times. (Yes, i counted the deaths)

@@kaz7886 I respect you finding enjoyment in it, but chip damage is never fun to me.

@@thebigandlazyguy246 form changes lessen the chip dmg you see. Magic is still the best way of attacking and galvanizer still exists at lvl 1. Also the reprisal boosts affect the countershields too so..

Don't really get what you mean, but no gameplay segment is exclusive to Critical Mode. :3

did he make a playthrough with KH3? i seen a few but I was thinking it was JJ who was more of a fan of the franchise than him lol but I could be wrong.

Yep, as a hardcore Dark Souls fan i must admit, the Dark Souls series is way easier than Critical Mode KH3.

I don't think it's that bad personally. But I understand why many don't like it.

I am already playing the actual CM. But I have not carried over anything, to ensure a greater challenge. I love Critical Mode a lot. It's a ton of fun. :3

@@HeartlessSlayer3 ps5 has been confirmed to have backwards compatibility with PS4 games so he means that he can play kh2 and kh3 later on the ps5

I would be fine with that. Only for STR and MAG though. DEF should remain unchanged. But I actually don't mind the low damage. It's pretty nice. :3

I use STR boosting accessories like the Orichalcum Ring. They have an ability called Cure Converter, which raises the Command Gauge when using Cure spells. You can stack the ability to increase the effect. :3

No you do not get Second Chance and Once More at LV1. You earn them by leveling up. If my HP ever drops to 0 I will die. :3

Yeah this is basically the Beta Critical Mode. You see, the values for Critical Mode are in the game files. Currently, that just means you take the same damage as on Proud Mode, but your maximum HP and MP is halved. Which definitely makes things a lot harder. The real Critical Mode will feature new AI, abilities, and other changes. They didn't want it to just be a value change like this, which is why it isn't out yet. You can only access this version of Critical Mode if you have Save Wizard, which is an extremely easy to use Save Editor, which costs $60. :3

You should try critical it really changes your game experience Its fun

That's a pretty neat idea. If I ever do a casual playthrough where I level up, then I'll make sure and try that out. :3

Very hard. Took me roughly 4 hours to beat. However, I already had previous experience with this boss on my Proud Mode LV1 playthrough. So the fact that it still took me 4 hours, even with all the experience I had with this fight, shows just how hard these fights can be. ----- Although if you focus on Magic and use Food, it is much easier. I personally focus on physical attacks because it is more fun for me, even if it makes the game 20x harder. :3

@@bnhearyza4767 Jesus that sounds like sucked. The amount of time you put into just one boss fight is astounding. By way, I know it's a little too soon, but will you be doing this for the other bosses?

@@delsin4037 I loved it actually. It is a fair and intense fight. And end game bosses taking hours to beat is normal for Level 1 challenges. As for doing this with other bosses, I've already posted videos of me beating nearly all the bosses in this game on Proud Level 1. So I don't have any plans on doing this for other bosses at the moment. However, once Critical Mode is officially released to the public, I will probably record me beating all the bosses on CMLV1, and put them all together in one big video, with time stamps for every boss. :3

Yes I'd love that. Nomura did say there will be at least 1 title before KH4, so I think that'd be a great idea. :-3
