Right, It's not the same anymore. I was so worried when he was trying to do the high notes. Maybe they need some breaks between these two songs (and Arnel 'danced' a lot! They are in the middle of the repertoire with all those hard songs.

Thats the voice been singing that song a million times for more than 15 years, he probably gets throat cancer before he retires.😢

@Elena, I agree with you, it's nice to watch on YT but one should see AP's overall powerful performance on stage at the venue, AP got that intense energy and charms to command the stage with his presence!!

100% agree, how I wish I could witness it, too, in person, I love to hear and see AP performs live! (watched all his videos in the Philippines @ Hard Rock Cafe), all those Journey songs has been mastered already by AP, because he's been singing that since he was 16 years old, when he joined the band Hijos, and Zoo! His raspy voice is the selling edge everytime he performs, (I was able to see him perform only during his performance @ Shakey's, Cubao, Q.C.- happened to be one of the passers by during the early 80's, but once you hear his voice, many people would stop walking, and watched there outside Shakeys standing behind that glass window/wall). That's how powerful the singing voice of Arnel Pineda, the so-called "charisma" built in his golden voice!

@@optimusprime732ableI was one of AP's fans even before then during the time of U.S. Bases in Olongapo City. I was in college then and after our night classes at 10:00pm..We always rushed to the place where his band (AMO Band) performs..CALJAM DISCO BAR(California Jam).and we stayed there till the band finished their set. AP will sit on our table, greeted us and will crack some jokes..My friends called him "small young boy" and He called us "Mong" referring to our height..since we are all varsity players with 5'7 up and wearing 4 inches heeled uniform shoes..and He even says "i wish i had your height girls..then i would feel really handsome" and we always tell him.."no worries Arnel..you have a very tall voice.".I never saw him with a long hair back then..its always a "marine cut"..😁😁 I felt really lucky to have met him upclose and personal and hears and watch him perform everynight for years...till the US bases pull-out.(after Mt Pinatubo eruption) bussinesses closed. I graduated and went overseas..i havent heard from him till the news of him becoming the lead singer of Journey. I was in hysterics (proud) jaw-dropped! And i told myself i knew he will be famous..and im sooo happy for him. Of course i am one of his avid fans..even before he become internationally famous. Im so proud of AP...and i always wished him the very best.

Arnels voice is big deferent to your steve peerys voice.hes legent entegent not like your steve.dont compare him .Rnel has 15 yrs in journey he save the band at hes ages hes still kicking but your steve nothing.
