The sand is a blast my little 116 scale bezgar hp161s 3s wild with paddle tires shredded through the sand. That little truck is a beast for the price I couldn't believe how good it handled it loves dancing through the sand even the snow and it is an awesome backflip truck when my son is at school I work afternoons so when I do my videos I'm recording with my right hand and driving with my left which makes a tricky I did get a tripod but it's just not the same as following the truck with someone actually recording awesome video

I just picked up a set of brand new GTRs with springs extra shaft 70 in the rears 60 in the front 43 bucks shipped. I want to see if they'll fit on my big rock 3s. The big rock should come with adjustable shocks. I mainly got them for my Traxxas DXL horse it already has rear green GTRs the ones I got now are blue but it has I have the lime green and black body and the rears green and I also have the solar flare these trucks are going to be strictly for snow shredding. I live in Buffalo the last few years we've been getting hammered with snow so with some paddle tires they're going to shred. Me and my son start our own RUclips channel called big Lee and Mini-Me RC. The only other option is I can use 6s Typhon shocks but they're like 90 bucks for a set. The stock shocks on the big rock are terrible I jumped at 6 ft and it completely bottomed out

I took my Stampede out west and jumped it for a week while camping. I had to find a hobby shop because I bent 3 out of the 4 shocks. I never had a shock cap come off, but have bent plenty of them. Servos have NEVER had an issue with ANY of my Traxxas vehicles.

Please reply to my comment! How much clearance (Height) did you get after this upgrade? How tall of a battery pack can fit? I want to be able to fit a 50mm tall battery, do you think that's possible? Or can you please just tell me how tall is each spacer. Thanks in advance

Trying to troubleshoot mine. My son was driving and had a strong burning smell. Didn’t see any smoke but it stopped rolling like it usually does when batteries are dead. It still turns but won’t go. Well charged battery and turns but won’t go. It has a power up audible bit that lets you know it’s good to go but no sound. Any ideas? I think the motor might be burnt up.

Nice ! Doesn’t seem like a backflip per with them tires but there it was . I just like if they land good . If they re bouncy I won’t jump it . I know this one flies good and straight vertical and light tap to even it out . I must just go ahead and get it over with

I've changed hundreds of motors in my life, but you know damn well that I'm gonna watch you change a motor cuz it's RC content.

I love the car! I would like to buy 1 or a redcat volcan 16, I am very interested in knowing how many game cycles the stock Esc 2-1 will last without burning out... does it still have the same original electronics working in 2024? greetings friend! The car is economical but its price makes me doubt a little about the duration of the stock esc and servo.... :) I have hardly seen videos that talk about this car after 1 year of use, usually everyone focuses on talking about the car fresh out of the box

If you have a newer slash vxl you may not have the top right screw hole. Turns out it has a drag slash transmission case and the rpm bumper mount will not fit without modification. Traxxas #9464 is the stock bumper mount for this scenario.

It seems like a good product. I just picked one up today because it was the least expensive 3s combo the hobby store had. I normally run Spectrum products but hopefully this will be just as good as a BLX100 with the 3200kv motor. A few extra KV's never hurt. The Castle motor is 3800kv so hopefully it faster. My background is in electrical and it get confusing with RC's. Normal motors used in every day applications are rated in RPS's and KV stands for kilo volts. 1k = 1000v .. Thanks for covering this system as it really helps us make better purchasing decisions. 👍

hey I just wanted to ask im having trouble with my caster blocks and have tried to just put the screw for the tow link in while not attached to any part of the car but the screw still won't go in. I there a chance I might of gotten one that is not threaded (edit) I found the problem I was spinning the screw in the wrong direction

Put a bigger pinion gear on it for more speed

I know that’s not a real drift car because within the first two minutes of running it like that with those tires, it would’ve started to burn out the gearbox. That red cat stuff is a blast though for the price point.

Its way to far out.. I wish they made a comp style that went right back to the frame. I cant find one anywhere

Keep in mind, the Bandit front arms and caster blocks are different from the Slash, Stampede and Rustler. They are a bit shorter and "beefier", the caster blocks also use a thicker hinge pin. Other than that, they are the same up front.

And an explanation on why you're worried about the difference would be fucking great too.

I accidentally put my exact same truck under a foot of water, and it survived. The engine and tires, everything was SOAKED, but it survived. Very impressive Haiboxing, you've earned my respect.

Hi how long does the 5200mah battery last for from fully charged to going flat when running it in rc car

Just dug mine out after several years. Still in good shape but need batteries - everything is stock right now. any suggestions for replacement batteries and upgrades in future possibly? This is my first RC car since 1986 when I bought the Kyosho Icarus

If you plan to run 3s more, definitely recommend a heat sink (and possibly a fan) for the motor and a fan for the esc, it'll greatly extend the life of both

One of the most best r/cs to buy in my opinion, it drives almost and terain and it’s 3s and if or once you get bored of three s you can upgrade it to 6S fairly simple

Got couple Goldbats 5200 2s 80c a yr ago for xl5 'Pede , run then on Bandit & for a leisure 40mph on Vendettas & are very pleased with performance and price. Unexpected battery strap was nice, also.

Any problems after saltwater?

If I just want to clean the bushings how would I do that?

I had one of these cars years ago. I could not for the life of me get it to go straight. Is that a common problem with these or did I just have a dud?

Do you have a lift kit on this thing? Youve got some crazy ground clearance and id love to do that on mine. It also looks like you have an aftermarket chassis if im not mistaken
