Copper not brass😂
Read, don't listen 😅
Haha don't ever use the copper on a solid lifter mk1 VW ,the lifter noise thru the gauge will drive you bonkers. 😂😂
Cool

Well it did absolutely nothing unless you increased your timing past where you could with straight gas. Just adding this does nothing. But if you deal with preignition or detonation, or can't increase your timing because of that, this will allow more timing and it does work as advertised.
At least you didn't pay a shop to do it. Takes less than 60 seconds to replace, including the testing. You have man hands! 🤣🤣
2.5 quarts
Good job.👍
Cool
I replace all the bulbs without needing to take off the entire bumper. I just reach in and replace them Not sure why you did all of this. 😬

@@miguelsmotors2138 fair enough! I have man's hands too! 😁 Thanks for the video!
@@miguelsmotors2138will this method work For replacing the entire assembly?
@luckeypolishing the dealer, and I can't reach the bulb, so bumper removal and headlight assembly is necessary. Simple job don't over think it.
What made you change it and what are symptoms you need a new tipm?
@malcolmstafford9300 the generator would not charge the battery. It turned out to be the computer. The voltage regulator is inside the computer. The vehicle had many electronic issues with windows and wipers and door locks not working all the time. I believe radio and taillights problems as well.
Cool
You mentioned “tying these two together” looks like you were referring to + & - cables, my question is why is that the case ? Is it the case for alternator change or for the computer change?
For the fuse box. It's called a hard reset .

Acid will eat most metals. The right combination of acid will even dissolve gold. Plastic is inert to majority of acids.

We always shoved them in more so the plug was sticking out straight then yanked it out and that would cut the plug in half then cut off the excess with side cutters. This was back in the 80's when I worked in a shop, so maybe things have changed 🤔
I'll try that next time thanks
Fun
