I was thinking so as well. They look similar. I am still looking for it in yhe field, where ragweed is a poisonous weed for the cattle. But wormwood has silvery gray color of underleaf and hairy stems. Ragweed is not hairy.

Dividing Gaura can be a bit tricky, but it is possible.... Gaura has a long taproot, which can make it difficult to divide without damaging the plant. I would only attempt it in early spring. Dividing Gaura isn't always successful, especially for more mature plants. Propagating Gaura from stem cuttings is generally considered a more reliable method.

Don't worry too much! While Mysore raspberries may not be the most cold-hardy variety, there's still a chance it could survive winter in zone 7, especially with some protection.
