      Merhaba! Bu harika bir soru. İşte Trinidad Scorpions'la olan anlaşma: Trinidad Akrep: Aşırı sıcaklığıyla bilinen Capsicum chinense türündeki biber çeşidi için genel bir terimdir. Trinidad Akrepleri'nde belirli çeşitlere bağlı olarak bazı farklılıklar olabilir. Trinidad Moruga Akrep: Bu, Trinidad Akrep ailesindeki özel bir çeşittir (ekili çeşittir). 2 milyondan fazla Scoville Isı Birimi'ne (SHU) ulaşarak dünyanın en sıcak biberlerinden biri olduğu biliniyor. İşte bunu kolaylaştırmak için bir benzetme: Trinidad Akrepini "Çoban" gibi bir köpek türü olarak düşünün. Trinidad Moruga Akrep, bu kategoride "Alman Çoban Köpeği" gibi özel bir cins olacaktır.

      @terramatergardens 9 дней назад

      Black-eyed Susan vines (Thunbergia alata) are certainly beautiful, and I understand why you'd want them cascading down your front wall. While they might not be the absolute perfect fit for a hot and arid climate, Black-eyed Susan vines are moderately heat tolerant, but they do prefer some moisture. In a very hot and arid region, they might need a little extra TLC.

    Nope, some of this is misinformation. There are only 4 actually dangerous spider families in the world, and those are Latrodectus (the widows, which appeared here as the black and brown widow), Loxosceles (brown recluse, which appeared here), Armed Spiders (also known as the brazilian wandering spider, which isn't in north america) and the Australian funnel web spider (which also isn't in north america). There are close relatives that have medical significance to their venom, but only these 4 have ever killed someone. I can't say much on the yellow sac but I know for a fact that hobo spiders are not dangerous. The only confirmed hobo spider bite that ever came with necrosis was in a person with a condition that caused necrosis already. Properly controlled research has always shown them to not be medically significant.

    • @terramatergardens
      @terramatergardens 13 дней назад

      Thank you for your detailed comment and for sharing your knowledge! You bring up some important points about spider families and their medical significance. The Latrodectus and Loxosceles families are indeed well known for their dangerous species, such as the black and brown widows and the brown recluse. Regarding the hobo spider, there has been a lot of debate and mixed information over the years. While some sources initially suggested they could cause necrosis, more recent research indicates they may not be as medically significant as once thought. The yellow sac spider, they can deliver a painful bite, but they are generally not considered to be life-threatening. The title of the video is, “the most dangerous”, not deadly or causing necrosis. The yellow sac spider was once considered non-dangerous too…. I would not want to be bitten by any of these five and if I were, I would seek medical attention just to be safe. I appreciate your input and will ensure to update the information to reflect the most accurate and current research. If you have any more insights or questions, feel free to share!

    What's the difference from picking the Red Cayenne Peppers when green, letting them dry out and turn red, versus waiting for them to turn red on the plant, then picking them?

    • @terramatergardens
      @terramatergardens 13 дней назад

      Great question! The main difference lies in the flavor and nutritional content. When you pick cayenne peppers green and let them dry out and turn red, they typically have a milder flavor and slightly less heat compared to those that are allowed to fully ripen on the plant. Waiting for the peppers to turn red on the plant before picking them usually results in a richer flavor and higher levels of capsaicin, the compound that gives peppers their heat. Additionally, fully ripened red peppers tend to have more vitamins, particularly vitamin C and beta-carotene. So, it really depends on your preference for flavor and heat. Thanks for your question and happy gardening!

      Dividing Gaura can be a bit tricky, but it is possible.... Gaura has a long taproot, which can make it difficult to divide without damaging the plant. I would only attempt it in early spring. Dividing Gaura isn't always successful, especially for more mature plants. Propagating Gaura from stem cuttings is generally considered a more reliable method.

      Hi there! Thanks for reaching out about your Asian Snow jasmine. Pruning is Key: Regular pruning encourages bushier growth. Aim to prune your Asian Snow jasmine 2-3 times a year, particularly after flowering cycles. You can cut back leggy stems by up to one-third of their length. Don't be afraid to prune more heavily if needed. Make clean cuts just above a healthy bud or leaf node. This will encourage new growth from those points.

      Sure! To help your cayenne pepper seeds germinate successfully indoors, ensure they are kept in a warm and consistently moist environment. You can use a seedling heat mat to maintain a temperature of around 70-80°F (21-27°C), which helps promote germination. Additionally, cover the seed tray with a clear plastic lid or plastic wrap to maintain humidity levels. Once the seeds sprout, gradually introduce them to light and continue to keep the soil evenly moist, but not waterlogged. Good luck with your cayenne peppers!
