Project EXPLORE is an initiative launched in partnership with Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services (IVRS). Students with disabilities (aged 14-21) are supported in exploring post-graduation options and resources. Students and their families meet with UI REACH staff on a monthly basis to review possibilities including employment, employment training, trade school, technical college, and attending transition programs like UI REACH. Students also participate in a weeklong summer camp during which they live on the University of Iowa campus, take field trips to local businesses, and form friendships with other program participants.
