Hi, i’ve installed the same models as yours on my Lupo, but now when i turn the wheel too much with a little of speed, something is rubbing in the front wheels; when i turn to the right it’s the left wheel, etc.. Any ideas ? I don’t think it’s due to the tires on the fender..

I was hoping to see coilovers, as I want to install those in my Lupo, but this is incredibly helpful regardless, Arosa/Lupo informations are so scarce!

Interesting, I didn’t have a distance washer that went on first, before the actual brake rotor. Once tightened, nothing turned around. Ended up pressing the abs sensor in ca 2 mm till it doesn’t want to work anymore. Direct fit my ass Autodoc.

Nice videos. I see your x5 has the ACC option. This is almost not existent in the USA for the E70 X5. I had performed a retrofit and installed ACC into my E60 355i Msport. I recently purchased a LCI e70 35d and I want to also retrofit ACC into it. I cannot find the parts as almost none of them here had that option. Is/are there wreckers that you know of in Germany who would sell me those parts along with the wiring harness pigtails ? I would need the DSC hydraulic unit, the LDM module, radar sensor, and not sure if they use the side sensors on the E70

Great video, very useful, but what about the rubber window trim seal between the window glass where the water gets in? if water gets in there won't there be a build up of water inside the door?

Sollte eigentlich auch reichen, wenn man das Silikon um die Blechplatte anbringt ohne diese abzuschrauben. Oder?

Thanks for the video, in mine, the panel is riveted, as in all doors, but I did not lower the glass, so I have broken the white piece, now I have to look for the replacement, and disassemble everything, the water continues to get in even with new assembly silicone

My 2005 Fabia is always having problems with locks and electric windows .also the inner panel is riveted in place.who the hell thought that was a good idea.

Do you really need to take the metal plate off? Or is it possible to just put silicone between the metal plate en the door on the outside?

Is the cause not the window seal? Can you change these, and if so, isn't it better to do so so water cannot get in in the first place

ther eis something my mind does not process, the border of the door, inside, where the metal panel is, is about 3 inches taller, if the water gets inside due the broken seal,s it means the water reach 3 inches higher inside the door? i mean, DRAIN HOLES should fix that, water should not reach that part inside the door..

Had the same issue. I opened the door and i fiddled with the lock for 2 hours trying to unlock it. Then i saw your video and it unlocked after i wiggled the lock while pressing the unlock button. Thx❤

Note not all heat guns are rated the same. Use a low powered one if possible, do not rush it or try amd complete it on one pass either

Thanks for this, i am still wondering about the/any drain holes in the door bottom. I'm having the same leaks so will do this DIY when i've got the time, but my first thought on the cause would be a blocked drain hole in the door, backing up the water in the door high enough to start leaking through the panel. Do you check the drain hole(s)?
