@@t-roys If you have a Lowe's or Home Depot close you might want to try on of the Electronic Igniters that works off of AA or AAA Battery that supplies a Continuous Ark of High Voltage as long as you hold down the button. Some people say that the Continuous Ark will Ignite Any Fuel no matter the Air Ratio.

Is there any place where the Spark can jump before it gets to the Igniter? Since your Arc Source is not mounted Permanent you can easily change if needed unlike some of the other designs I have seen. I use small screws in my End-cap in case I need to remove - pressure will follow the path of least resistance so the screws hold with no problem. Good thing no-one has gotten Stupid and tried Gasoline it expands 360 degrees and will Explode PVC Pipe!

I don't believe it was the original engine. But I am not sure. I believe the engine was a 16HP Vanguard. But I could be wrong.

I do not believe they have an alternator. There is a group on Facebook for Speedex tractors that are pretty knowledgeable. They should be able to help

@t-roys thanks I subscribed to the group I will ask see if they know, I found the alternator charging system it's on the flywheel...now I need to know if there's a regulator or silinoid!

Heck yeah, just make sure and don't forget to tie one end of the rope off so you don't lose your magnet like me. 😅

@@t-roys yeah I did. Unfortunately I'm thinking the magnet is too weak for the small amount of steel that is going to be on lures. I was right on top of a spinner and it still didn't grab it. Slid right off as soon as I was pulling out of the water, no matter how slow I went. Think it's a good idea and all and I do support a lot of the Ozarktrail product line but it's probably best to just get a real magnet and buy your own cheap gloves and piece of rope.

That is pretty cool. I have never seen one around where I am at with factory headlights.

@@t-roys I lived by speedex, eagle tractor company in ravenna Ohio my first tractor was a 1631 model with a 42 inch mowing deck was a nice well built tractor, sadly they went out of business
