I went natural completely by accident. After years of perming, weaving and completely abusing my hair, it finally fell out. In 2010 I found myself bald and completely lost. While googling magical ways to grow my hair back quickly, I came across the natural hair community and I saw all these women with gorgeous natural hair and was completely amazed. I had no idea that my hair was so versatile, I was also predisposed to believing that my natural hair could not grow beyond my neck.
In 2017 I decided to loc my hair after thinking about it for a while. At that time my hair was damaged and I was balding in a few different spots. I did my research on best practices for hair growth and maintenance and I'm happy to say that my locs are flourishing. Healthy, long natural hair is attainable despite the problems that you may face. I take a holistic approach to hair growth and beauty so follow my journey as I share tips, tricks and best practices for long, healthy locs and natural hair.

Thanks for showing us your hair ane giving me advice on growing out your hair. I just had locks and the weight of the locks gave me a ball spot. My loctition told me that the hair can be grown back. Never realized it was possible to regrow a bald spot!🎉 My hair is balding un the middle. Sort of like how yours is in the thumbnail. (If thats really how you looked. But ive decided recently, that April 2nd was my last fade cut. Not cutting my hair again and i plan on growing locs finally. What do you think about using rogaine with other oils ?

Girl this the comment I was looking for! I did a braid out for the second time last night and I used 6-7 locs per braid and still have 17 braids total after it all! I have 105 locs lmao 😂 I be like HOW DO THEY ONLY USE 3 loce at a time and don’t have like 30 braids. I did the math and if I only used 3 locs per braid that would be 35 and I ain’t got time for that 😂😂😂
