Thank you, Dean, for continuing on with the book.
Thank you so much it helped so well ❤❤❤ keep posting
Tempo is easy to follow, thank you.
Woohoo
Hi Dean it Lillian from Wyndham public nice work hope to see you next week 😀 👍
bro is majestic
Many thanks for these vids Dean, I just stumbled upon them and they are gold..
Which video explains tremolo?
its taken a while to build to this speed, but got there at last... around 160bpm. Thanks Dean
Thanks dean, got it.
Thanks dean, I’ve got it at this speed. I like the metronome for practice.
Best Teacher Ever!!!!!
Thanks dean that was a good speed to play together and to get rest strokes all the way through for Playtime. I can’t wait for us to be able to play live together again.
thanks for including your right hand in the video shot, Dean, the pick hold and pick position are very clear
No worries mate!
Yay! I did it. Played long with you at full speed and in the matching rhythm . I am so proud of myself...hahahaha!
Well done Bruce!! I am proud of you!
thanks Dean, you really have a good tremolo there!
Thanks Bruce, that's lively for you to say, though really it's still a work in progress. Tremolo is such a great part of the mandolin sound, it's totally worth the time it takes to develop. Thanks again Bruce!
These videos are so much help in revising the work we have done in our face to face lessons. There is only so much we can absorb at any time, so with these we can go back, double check, and pick up anything we missed. Thank you for producing them Dean.
Thank you Dean. This is such a pretty waltz tune to learn, with no pressure to tremolo. This is a great play along for players practicing their timing. When we can tremolo, it will be sensational.
Havent got my Hal Leonard book yet but the clips are great thanks Dean
Glad they are helping Annabel. I have some books on order too, you can have one of mine if they arrive first.
Thanks Dean, thats really clear. Every mandolinist needs to watch this video, and practice perfect pick position.
Thanks for the feedback Bruce! Of course there is more than one way to do most things in life - this is not the only way to do it - but when my teacher(s) got me to slow down and really check out my picking mechanics, my right hand started to feel more relaxed and picking became more accurate.
