FIishing the Kern River with One Free Drink
Took my little brother Cameron up to the Kern River for a two-day family escape, chasing fish and fresh air. Stayed in this cabin on the river in Kernville, the kind where you could almost hear the ghosts of old miners. Fish weren’t biting like we hoped-empty hooks and laughter from the river. But it was fine. Me, Cam, the family, and the mountains stretching above us like some unfinished painting.
Then, just when it seemed like the trip might slip away, we hooked a rainbow trout-small but perfect, shimmering like a dream. Right before we had to leave. One fish, a story, and we hit the road back to LA for The Red Clay Strays at The Wiltern. Two worlds colliding, and I realized-it was never...

Journal Entry - Wall Shapes

Journal entry on wall shapes. Not much thought goes into creating these journal entries. However I make them frequently, and figured I might as well share. I always make everything in the video. This is featuring a wood sculpture I am currently working on.

I hope you're having a great day. This is the first screen printing session in the new studio located in Highland Park. I have been focusing more on audio lately and have to create to get better, so most of the videos from her on will be part of something else I have been working on! Really appreciate your time watching, or reading this. They say the subscribe means a lot, not real sure.

1992 Chevy G20 Conversion

After traveling the country once in a Honda CR-V we decided to turn our 1992 Chevy G20 into a conversion van home and go back out on the road. To be honest the van was beautiful pre conversion, but now it is a more functional and comfortable weekender. We insulated the walls and ceiling with hemp wool. We also used cork for the floors and cedar planks for the walls. The ceiling is painters canv...

NICE
@@campvanrvadventures thanks!
Best!!!
It really was the BEST
Update: someone stole the van from my parking garage, and totaled it. 😔
I have seen a lot of van builds... but why? Why did you tear apart a perfectly fine custom van for that? A stripped down work van would have been just as good and easier because you wouldn't have had to gutted it. It's like ripping a Corvette apart to get a bigger trunk when there are Camaros all around.
Mpg 4 😅😅😅😅 you've added so much weight to the van. 😅😅
Thanks for the video, how long is your bed?
really cool van! I love the feel of it and my friend wants to sell his, but the fuel consumption would crumble the little money i have i fear! Do you recommend it as a only car?
Sorry never saw this..I do not reccomend as a daily driver.. when I moved into a house. Driving to work became very expensive.
That RTIC cooler looks wicked, do you know the volume of it? I'm thinking of building something similar to what you got in my CRV.
That interior was is great condition, shame to waste it. But a cool build none the less
I agree... why destroy a perfect custom to make this?
Because we can.
Aquired my 1992 last October... Removed the back seats and bench seats as well and now contemplating the build out. The two things of concern is weight (hence; wood adds up fast) and aerodynamics for efficient gas milage. This intuitive guidance is now being validate with the recent $5+/gal. (and who knows for how long?). What is your current MPG?
За всю жизнь не накопишь на такое авто
nice i just got this car
The AWD and the size of the cr-v will take you places campers and even vans can’t get too
@@OneFreeDrinkBaby did you guys lift yours?
I have a 92 G20 as well and I am curious how you framed out your windows. I was trying to see in the video. Is there anyway you could give me some pointers? Much appreciated
Sick! What a beauty you have then. We treated it just like you would a house.
Siq!
Thank you!

Great work!
How did you get the middle captain chairs out
Angle grinder through the bolts holding them to the frame.. was definitely one of the trickiest parts.
Such a great conversion! Looks much better than the original imo! Kudos! ~Jim~
Thanks Jim! Definitely helps us feel totally relaxed!

Hello new subbie! Hey, what is the foam pad that you put on the platform?
Awesome
Thanks Karl!
Question please.... how did you attach the plywood to the foam under it? thanks so much. Gonna put plywood on my floor (over the carpet, and wondering how to attach it. :)
Hi! we actually didn't "attach it" just cut the outline relatively snug and then cut and attached the cork flooring.
Love the chicken!!! ❣🐔 sweetie pie!! She wanted to go with you. :)
She lives on a beautiful farm now!
No nice colors in American interior conversions. Just blandness with the desire to look like a homeless person.
@@___David___Savian man shut up.
I love "personal" van build videos . There are to many companies that have jumped on the bandwagon. Your name intrigued me and thanks for sharing.
Thank you! We had a blast building and exploring the past year and a half! 🤟
Any known issues with this type of van?
Mine had been in the family since the 90s. It currently only has 80k miles. For me, nothing yet.
van tour??
NYC to Seattle. Back to NYC. Back to NorCal. Moved to SoCal.
Love the '70s-'80s Chevy vans.
Same- I just love me a good van tbh!
great work, I really wish I could have been there to see more. I am trying to build out on my own, not an easy task. I like the outcome

Do you have a link to instructions? Great build
There is another CRV build somewhere online with a little more instructions.
I’d just leave that time capsule alone. Pity.
No1 cares Craig.
Agreed! I understand it is their right to do so. But taking a Unique conversion van that was still in pretty good condition apart like that hurts my soul.. Me and my wife bought one recently (94') With plans of doing the same as them. But once we saw how clean it was, we couldn't bring ourselves to do it. So instead we are keeping it clean and upgrading it with things which do not require any destructive installations that cannot be reversed. I will be posting a video soon of our interior. 🐺
