    Hey Troy! Love your content! Do you know what the latest TC Helicon GXT is for the harmonies? Also, does it have pitch correction? I watched your dragging the line video today and I have the Beat Buddy 2 but the song is not listed in their singular song list? Do you know the genre and BPM? Thanks!

      @myacousticlounge 6 дней назад

      @@ronlarge7024 Hi Ron, thanks for reaching out. I understand that TC Helicon no longer makes a GXT Harmonizer which is unfortunate... and yes, it has pitch control on the harmonies. There are still a number of manufacturers like BOSS that make vocal harmony pedals. I’ve watched a couple of videos on them and they look great. Now as far as the Beat Buddy back beat is concerned… with the exception of a few of my first videos I actually put the back beat and BPM in the actual video but you have to watch the introduction of each video to see it, because it appears at different times. At minute 1:39 of the Draggin’ The Line video you’ll see it at the bottom left corner under the picture of the Beat Buddy. It’s one of the things I do to get more people watching the entire video. 😉 Thanks for watching my friend!

      Thanks for this honest comment. I made these changes for a few reasons. A bit of a read but allow me to explain. My channel analytics show the average watch time of my videos is only 6 minutes? The average length of my tutorials before this change was between 10 to 15 minutes. I’m sure you can appreciate that It takes a great deal of time to put these videos together. To learn that very few people watch the entire video is a bit of a shock. The second reason has to do with copyright. You may have noticed that many of the RUclips content creators who have more than 100k followers don’t do a cover. This is because they will instantly get a copyright on their video if they do. For those that are trying to make money off of RUclips, doing a copy of a song doesn’t help. As soon as you get a copyright, any money from that is generated from the video goes to the original song writer and not the content creator. So, I’m making an effort to separate the cover from the lesson. The covers have newly added chord charts to follow, so if your more advanced in your guitar playing, this may be all you need and you don’t need the “lesson” Lastly has to do with content. RUclips loves content. And is pushing for “video shorts” The more videos you put up the better chance a video will get seen. I truly love putting these videos tutorials together but they are time consuming. At this moment in time, I have not monetized this channel so I’m doing this completely for free. As of today, my tutorials have been viewed more than 600k times and yet I only have 4K followers? I’m simply looking to gain more followers and have my tutorials viewed in their entirety. Will I keep this formate? It’s to early to say. I’m just trying to find a format that gets my video tutorials watched and more people following my channel.

Sometimes when I search up how to play a song, the tutorial I made is so far down on the video list people simply don’t scroll that far to see it. It’s really no different than a Google search. The one that pays for that first slot get the business. In the RUclips world, The ones that have the most followers get the first few slots because the advertising gets seen more. The RUclips algorithm will be the death of me! RUclips recognizes 100k follower mark and that’s my goal. I’ve been doing RUclips tutorials for 5 years now. I have 188 tutorials, 600k views, countless hours putting together these tutorials and again…. only 4K followers. I’ve got to try something new my friend!

      Hi Andrew, In many cases, the strumming pattern can change in a song when transitioning from verses to choruses. I personally incorporate a number of muted slap strums, variations and Nuances, unique to me when I Strum cords. It’s not always consistently the same throughout the song and it’s not always the same as the original. Keep in mind, there’s no right or wrong way to strum chords to a particular song. What’s important is learning the general rhythm. As you practice and get the general rhythm of a song down you’re trying to learn, you’ll find variations and nuances that work for you. My advice to you is play the song, not a strumming pattern. With that, I’m loosely playing… A Chord ⬇️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬇️ D Chord ⬇️⬆️⬇️⬇️ E Chord ⬇️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬇️ I’m also going to include this video tutorial (below) I did about strumming patterns and their perceived importance. If you have some time please have a look. ruclips.net/video/Tugs7htczpY/видео.htmlsi=g5wZjiduoow2UXTP
