Backyard Farm Railway Australia
I've been building a backyard railway for the past 2 1/2 years on my farm just south of Sydney, Australia. Phase 1 of the project is about 300 meters long or around 1000 ft long. The size is 16" gauge size. We've had to move a ton of earth to get reasonably level ground. We built a bridge, and Phase 2 will include a tunnel into a cellar door to taste the wine we make on the property. It's been a really fun project to work on!

Home Made Cinema
Просмотров 137Год назад
During Covid lockdown, my daughter Clara and I decided to build a cinema down at our farm property. Clara thought our unused stables would be a good spot for it. With the help of Andy, Andrew, Dean, and others, we were able to break down some walls and create a vintage style movie cinema!
Landing at Broken Hill Airport & Packsaddle dirt Airstrip and 1 night at Packsaddle Roadhouse

2 years ago when I started flying again my instructors asked me what I wanted to do once I got my pilots license. The first thing was to fly to the outback and have a beer and a steak. Two things I really don’t ever have. So I grabbed my mate and co-pilot Nicky boy and flew 1/3 of the way across Australia to Packsaddle (population 87) and the Roadhouse. After the staff did their Roo Run (cleari...

The World's First Ever Drone Tooth Pull - By Paul Borrud
Просмотров 7 тыс.9 лет назад
In June of 2015, my nephew Bruno asked me if I would like to pull his loose tooth out. I said "Sure, how about we use my Drone, Phyllis." He said "Yes!" For the next 24 hours he asked when we were going to do it. We all gathered down at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco and strategized the First Ever Tooth Pull by a Drone. We used high grade Dental Floss, cleared the area, cameras in place, c...

Views from above 24-48 hours after the Nepal Earthquake. Each of the villages I visited to deliver food, supplies, water, medicine, I also captured the devastation from the air flying my drone, Phyllis. The hardest hit areas are in the rural villages and also receiving no aid or support. Please visit www.dronation.com to pledge your support and make a donation. I will personally make sure the f...
Homemade Slip n Slide - 100 meters long

This is our annual New Years Day slip n slide. 100 meters (310 yards)
Little note, 360 cm is 3,6 meters... that needs to be divided by 10. Like all on that board. great job otherwise.
Im surprised the lengths stayed at 50cm difference they should gradually grow like frets on a guitar 🤔
Have you ever been to the Town Hall there in Sydney to see it's organ?
Did you make tampering end on the Pipes? If so,how?
She means mm and not cm.
Incredible! I hope Lilly goes far in life. I wonder what she's doing now seeing as this was filmed in 2018. Hopefully thriving!
Amazing work! Good Job!❤️
So love this! What fun- and wonderful of you to share!
Your nbrs are wrong. 360 cm Is 3 meters and 60cm ...... 😚😜
Sounds like a mellotrone
What about... chrome paint or wood effects on the PVC? Alcohol or acetone can wipe off the writing.
Great!
THat's pretty neat! I like it. The 8 keys are all natural white... so you're in C scale or A minor. An impressive effort to make this work as well as you did.
wonderful! Such good work. You did a fine job.
On your pipe organ the black keys are in the wrong place there are too manny
bravo
Yeah but what’s the name of the Timelapse music
In French it’s called « Le Beau Danube Bleu », a valse (name of the type of music and type of danse too), maybe in english it’s « The Blue Beautiful Danube » ? By the way, the Danube is a well known big river in Europe.
My god... She should be an engineer at a organ industry

Excellent creation!-John in Texas
A bit of history. Those wide keys are actually historically accurate. The first organs actually deserving of the name had old-style mechanical spring-and-counterweight actions that required extra pressure to play the notes. The first organists for that type of instrument were called "organ pounders" because they had to pound on the stiff-action keys.
Also, they played with their fists.
Awesome creation. I took the liberty of correcting the lenghts of your pipe if you want to stay in tune with other instruments. It sounds awful
2:00 that shounds like an air raid siner. Lol.

You should put a small pillow at the bottom to cancel out the wood clanking
How much would your pipe organ cost if you would have to sell it
Really cool!
Very nice work on this
Really awesome....quite a duanting project
I think you mixing up cm and mm, your pipes are not 3-9 meters long
Great job Lily! Just to mention, for the length of the different pipes, you show and talk about the length in cm (centimeter), and that's what your table shows as well. It should be instead mm (milimeter). Imagine, a pipe length of 410 cm would mean a pipe of 4.1 m (meter), as one meter is equal to 100 cm (centimeter) or 1 m (one meter). "Centi" means 100 and comes from the Latin language.
This is definitely hacking
Hey Paul, you can be proud of your daughter! Best greetings from Bachland (Deutschland)!

Great work glad to see more young people like me interested in pipe organs!
Did the shadow and flats actually work?
This is mind-blowingly awesome, Lilly! From a professional organist with a diploma in the craft. I am very impressed by your efforts!
Kkkkkkk!!!
Great Job! I am currently attempting a project like yours. The pipes sound Great!
I use that exact tuning app sometimes 😂
