Hey Man Thanks...for checking out our channel! We are Paul & Alexa. Our channel is dedicated to cruising Georgian Bay, The North Channel and surrounding waterways. Come along on our adventures where we will show you some great anchorages, mix some drinks, cook a meal or two and talk about the ins and outs of boating. And if you stay tuned, there might even be some great bikini shots! (Paul looks great in a banana hammock) 😉
A Rock On Georgian Bay. May 24 Weekend 2022
Lex found a rock on Georgian Bay. This one is a little different from the usual rocks people find with their boats while cruising on Georgian Bay. Also, its May 24 weekend. The official kickoff to summer 2022.

Thanks for the great adventures Great job showing the navionics of the routes that you take Are you retired from boating missing your content
@@paulyg1742 thanks for the comment! We are off the water for the next couple years to do some bucket list land travel. Picked up a travel trailer and trying to see as much of Canada and the US as possible before we get our next boat!
@ thank you for reply Glad you guys are having more adventures I was boating in Georgian bay and north channel last year I will be going back next summer Your videos have shown so many awesome anchorages that I’m gonna check out next summer Thanks again safe travels
Great video and we’ll made. Where is your home port located ?
Thank you! Our home port was Hindson Marina in Penetanguishene, Ontario. Great marina and great service. We will be off the water now for the next few years as we are starting “RV Life” to do some bucket list travel across Canada and the US. But then back into another boat when we are done that adventure.
We went through north channel last year, haven’t anchored much but your videos are inspiring me. Planning to go through Georgian Bay next year, and Trent Severn. Are you posting anymore videos?
Hey. Thank you for watching. We have some videos of Georgian Bay on our channel, and some of our North Channel videos include our ride up and back along Georgian Bay. We haven’t done any videos in a bit, as we just enjoyed our last season on the water for a couple of years. Starting the “RV Life” to do some bucket list travelling around Canada and the US. Then back into another boat, as boating is definitely where our heart is.
what a cute snake!
I'm a little late but just found this video. Congrats.
Thanks! 😊
where did she get that hoodie I want....and by the way Congratulations..
She got it from The Hive, they closed their honey harbour store but still have one in collingwood.
Thanks Pal@@Jumpshiptravel
First time seeing your video. We shared a slip with Paradiso’s previous owner.
Beautifully done, you deserve thousands more likes.
What year make and size is your boat Is it a Diesel engine one motor or two
Keep up the great work on your videos guys
i enjoyed following your trips but you have not posted for a long time??
Congratulations. That is wonderful news.
Fantastic series of videos, we learned so much. We’re heading up to your beautiful area from Hamilton via the TSW in July 2023 for a month. Your videos really helped us in preparation for what we hope will be a trip of a lifetime. Thanks so much! Julie & Kevin aboard “Mya Layna”
Hey, thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the videos. If you have any questions or looking for any recommendations, feel free to reach out.
@@Jumpshiptravel we definitely will, thanks. One quick question if I may, would you say it’s four fairly easy days to Little Current from Midland?
Great to see the new video! Congratulations on the Big news!
Thank you! 😊
What length of line do you carry for your stern tie off?
Congratulations you guys!
Thanks so much!
Bold move pulling that rock out on the dock! Congratulations you two!
Hahaha I like to live on the edge 😂
Congrats again. Glad to see your adventures. From the crew of Dajinka
Thanks Andy!
Congrats!
Thank you! 😊
Congratulations
Thanks!
Congratulations you two !!! So happy for you and was glad to see you're posting your videos from the summer. I've been waiting patiently. :)
Thanks! And thank you for waiting for our videos! We will be getting our North Channel series together soon.
Congratulations!!! And, love your vids.
Thanks so much!
Congrats you two!!! Loved the reaction...so cool!!
Thanks so much! Was an awesome day for the both of us!
Congrats you two! I was just wondering if you two were married and lo and behold Paul takes a knee. I have to admit I was a bit stressed the ring would be dropped in the water in the excitement! Enjoy it! You two have great chemistry together. Glad you’re still making vids!
Thank you so much! I was a little worried about the ring too lol. Lex would have been swimming! 😂
Where did you two go? I've been watching all summer for your latest videos and haven't seen anything since the spring. Hope all is well with you both and nothing bad happened. Loved your blogs and looked forward to them every week. I live in North Bay, Ontario and can relate to the Georgian Bay waterways you travelled. Miss you both and your funny antics. :) Hope you return to this channel at some point. Cheers !!
Thanks for reaching out! We are doing very good, and we’re okay! Summer time gets a little hectic for us, so we just haven’t had anytime to edit and post but we did lots of filming this summer and will be posting videos again very soon! 🤗
Hey guys, the last video I could find of you was frying pan. Did you guys stop doing the videos. Miss your adventures and the scenery. Hope all is ok.
Hey. We have had an awesome summer cruising and videoing. We will be releasing some more videos this fall and winter including the 2022 North Channel series. Thanks for checking in! There will definitely be more to come!
@@Jumpshiptravel Awesome, looking forward to them. Need to see Lex's cork removing skill improvements lol.
@@mikepech6822 Hahaha, she is getting lots of practice!
Just started watching you guys. Awesome stuff.! What happened to the rest of the summer?
Thanks for watching! We have been out boating all summer and recording our trips. We will definitely have some more videos during the off season including our North Channel 2022 series!
at 6:08 is that poison ivy you're looking at
Yes it was. There was a few signs warning about it.
Hey just found you Gbay is my home waters and I was looking for a channel that my girlfriend could see the beautiful waters We are currently in Fiji 🇫🇯 sailing around the world, we’re coming your way on our circumnavigation ( the Great Loop)
Hey. Glad you found us as well. Sounds like you guys are on the trip of a lifetime! You’ll have to look us up when you’re up in this area!
PapaGoose here. Your little bay your in is called 50 Bay. There is a hand painted sign up in the Bush towards your stern line. Locally called 50 bay due to the kids drinking Labatts 50 they had taken from the parents.
Just catching this video now… Sept 13. Hey Paul….Good to see Frying Pan again…it’s been awhile since I’ve been there. We don’t get down south much when we’re in Moose Deer. Did u guys get out much this year…? I’m surprised it’s been a few months since you’ve put out any videos…
Hey. Frying pan is always a good spot but quite busy in the summer. We were in the North Channel for 5 weeks, spent some time in the Massasauga, Parry Sound, and lots of time around Bone Island. We have lots of great videos to go through and edit, but probably won’t be releasing much until November, so stay tuned lol. Truthfully, it’s been tough for us to edit during the boating season because we are enjoying being on the water so much, and then we work 12 hr days to make up for it. Hopefully you get to see our 2022 North Channel series as we release it this winter. Enjoy what’s left of the season!
Hey guys, just started following your channel...have you ever considered maybe getting groups of boaters together and offering tours of some of your destinations ?
Hey. Thanks for following along. That’s a great idea. We haven’t exactly thought of that but we have thought about doing a weekend raft up for people that follow the channel. But a regatta so to speak would be a blast. Maybe we could organize some details over the winter. Thanks for the comment and idea!
No matter where you go in the bay, there is always something different. The only places I disliked because of the crowds was near Penetang and Midland where the baby boats could go for the day. The Trent could get crowded at times, but it was a different atmosphere. It's nice to see you guys out there again.
Exactly, every time we go out, we notice something different or anchor somewhere a little different that offers a new perspective of the bay. And the farther you get from midland/penetang the better the boating gets!
Jealous! We are just putting the boat in today. Been agonizing waiting on my mechanic to get my bellows replaced.
I’m not sure why, but all the mechanics seem to be taking there time this year. Glad you’re getting launched now, looks like it’s going to be a fantastic weekend.
Awesome to see you guys back on the water! Looking forward to more videos!
Thanks Ryan
Lol. Glad I stayed to the end with the outtakes! Lol. Your drinks always look so good. Do you have a list of them with ingredients you can share?
We are glad you stayed until the end too. We started putting little bloopers in the 2021 North Channel series and hoping to keep that going. The martini was an espresso Martina and we added a splash of baileys to it. Just 1oz of vodka, 1oz Kahlúa and 1oz cold espresso or cold strong coffee. Shake over ice really well. We may have doubled all of those ingredients though lol
LOL!!! I had to laugh...typical boat SH!T! TBS...I just that term ALL the time!!
There is always TBS right! Just makes the drink at the end of the day worth it
@@Jumpshiptravel You got that right!!
It is true about the 100’ yacht at the pool. Came in every summer and went to there island in the pool. There also were celebrities there. Back in the day Sammy Davis and the Rat pack would visit there and as a kid saw Tom Cruise and Nichole Kidman there also
Sorry for the late reply but RUclips hasn’t been sending notifications about comments. That’s crazy! There is so much history in the North Channel. Thanks for sharing
That was the weekend we Launched. It was gorgeous weather. LOL the north channel is still like 58Deg last weekend. hopefully it warms up in the next few weeks. Safe travels.
Thank you so much. Any suggestions for anchorage around Whalesback and not at the Benjamins?
@@curtisdrayer328 lots Bear drop John harbour Moiles Shoe pack
Was an incredible weekend. I was saying that will probably be one of the nicer weekends of the summer. I hope the water warms up in the NC! That’s a little cold for swimming.
@@ampegor great spots! I 2nd these recommendations
Great to see you had a good trip for the start of the year. We are Chicago based and will be making our semi-annual trip to Whalesback and The Pool. Watching your videos of all these great anchorages is really awesome.
Thanks for watching Curtis! Maybe we will see you guys up there this summer. Don’t hesitate to swing by for a drink!
Glad you guys are at it again. I forgot how much work was involved in the spring. But the fun after is all worth it. I always enjoy watch your videos. Did you send Lex to wine cork removing school this summer lol. I know she knows how to drink it. All joking aside, boat looks great.
Hey Mike, yes there is so much to do getting the boat ready for the season. Only time of the year we wish we had a smaller boat lol. Lex has been practicing her corking skills all winter. She can now get into a bottle of wine in under 3 min. Although this past weekend she saw someone using an electric wine opener, so I have a feeling that will be on our next Amazon order.
@@Jumpshiptravel lol, You gotta love automation. I remember when my wife said one day she would love to have a dishwasher. So I got her one. She came home and took one look and fired her. Damn, you just can't keep women happy. Wife was pissed and dish washer left in tears.
@@mikepech1648 hahaha there really is no winning eh!
Always hate the buff and wax of the hull. Glad it’s only once a year. Your boat looks great. I will be looking for you in the north channel this summer. From the crew of MV Dajinka
Thank you! It’s a lot of work. Once a year is definitely enough. Hopefully we get to cross paths this season. We should be there this time next month!
Great job on interior upgrades. Boat looks great!
Thank you. It’s a constant project lol.
Lots of cute stuff! Lol
Best of luck this boating season! We will be heading south to our new home in SW Florida this summer! That trip south will be an exciting adventure. And nerve wracking!
Did you leave wye and come to queen cove Marina?
Yes we did, end of last season. Was time for a change.
Well I would have to agree about that dinghy, definitely not my favorite !!! LOL LOL We've enjoyed the journey along with you guys can't wait to see what's next!
The new dinghy might be up to your standards now lol. It’s a little less tippy. Maybe some of our 2022 adventures can feature you guys!?!
So awesome to see your plans so early in the spring! We’ll launch first week of July and cruise “down the Labrador”. Keep the videos coming.
We are excited for our trip north again this summer. And we can’t wait to hear about your adventures again!
Another wonderful video! The dinghy really allows you guys to get to see some amazing little gems. Keep up the great work and keep making memories .
The dinghy is a great little boat, especially when it stays upright 😉
Paul. At 1:40 on this video. Lex did something that I didn't think was possible. Never in my 75 years did I hear a woman say ( that's all I have to say ) God man, don't ever loose that girl. My first marriage I had a daughter. between her and my ex sounded like two squirrels nattering over a nut all day long.
Hahaha I’m glad I got this on video because I may never hear that again! But yes she is a keeper!
I will see you o the 25th as that is also my splash day
We still have our fingers crossed for the 25th week. Things are looking a bit late at the marina right now but we are still pushing for it. Can’t wait!
