I watched this game live as a kid. One of the most memorable games for me. I also liked the Yankees fan who jumped out and tried to rip a pad off of one of the walls, after everything started to settle down.

I remember that commercial when I was a kid. I think he may have been retired when he did that commercial.

Earlier in this season the SF manager, Herman Franks got into a big dust up with the umps, accusing Drysdale of doctoring the ball and I believe he was throw out. Some ad executive was on the ball. I saw that game on TV. This was the first season this 17-year-old started following baseball.

"Kolladgney", not sure of spelling, was an actual person in the production staff.... Real story came out when Xerox celebrated 'anniversaries' of several 60s-70s Super Bowl & NCAA Bowl ads..... "Kolladgney" was a special lighting-sound tech & his son was a real college ball player (not where filmed).... Somewhere Xerox documented Kollodney (the dad) suggested actors (Pro Players) needed to act like college kids & not "Pros"...act more "20ish, dumb, & college-like", like player stupidly looking up in the rain, etc.
