Excellent! So melodious!
Beautiful feel. Tender moments.
That’s wonderful!
Did u stop playing drums for RHCP?
Yes, at my age it's much easier to play acoustic guitar than drums. I was hoping no one would notice
Beautiful! May I know what pick ups you’re using
Hey... That's a Seymour Duncan Mag-Mic. There may have been some mics in the room too, but I don't remember
nice sound my man
Love you, Davo!
I LOVE this song!
The guitar player rushed it a bit ;)
Absolutely lovely. Wonderfully played and brilliantly recorded. ❤❤❤❤
thank you, glad you like it!
Your newest comment is 6 years old ! Here let me Year Stamp that people are still listening to this.
Thanks so much for sharing! I'm now discovering Porter and loving it!!!
When he mentions a French painter what I heard was 'Rouault', Georges Rouault
We've always assumed Bonnard, but you might be right
Edward Vuillard !! French painter
Hockney May have been influenced by Porter.
Thanks for posting!
I like his loose style. Very underrated painter, in some respects he was in the wrong era for his style.
What was the French painter mentioned. Was the name "Riard"?
It was Bonnard that was mentioned.
@@kaioaty was that Pierre Bonard?
@@lallu316 Pierre bonnard, yes!
i also heard vuillard - could be both
@@Maggieokeefevideo - he was inspired/influenced by both
I doubt any of us can be a pleine- aire painter, without first spending some time with Fairfield .!!!! I know he's a huge influence on me
The truth is that no one should be a "plein air painter" or whatever the heck that is suppose to mean. I despise the fact that it is even a term people have branded and turned into this big so called movement. No painters from the past, including the impressionists were even close to the lame philosophy you see now with these "purists" walking around creating rules. Even Monet did many of his paintings from memory in the studio (waterloo bridge series among them)/. Back then plein air was a tool you used in the creation of your landscapes, it wasn't a movement, it simply meant going outside to paint and study. Now it's a bunch of morons running around using it as a marketing tool to sell their art by claiming they "only paint on location". Often their art sucks as well!
Devin Michael Roberts why all the contempt? Today it has a meaning and classification because the world is very different
Great sound and well played..
Thank you Devendra
Heart touching lovely.
thank you <3
wonderful for morning
thank you, glad you like it!
Raag Bhairavi uses all the 12 notes of music. this is raag bhairavi. The interesting part is that this raag is played at the end of the concert so that the melodious notes just linger on and on in your mind..... and making you crave for more. a very close raag to Bhairavi is Bilaskhani Todi. One of the most mesmerising renditions of Bilaskhani Todi is of Pandit Jasraj. Thanks to you guys for compiling such a beautiful and melodious rendition. Absolutely mind blowing.
Very interesting melody. The notes seem different than indian raga Bhairavi but very beautiful. You have more information about? Tanks...
We are simply two enthusiasts without any formal training, and we just set out to have some fun. Thanks for the comment!
kai oatey without formal training....you played bhairavi on flute....ppl take years and years to clear bhairavi notes on flute...unbelievable
Nice presentation The Bhairavi is played transposing the S on to the Dhaivat of E Base flute..Hence taking most of the difficult half notes away making it technically easy to play on Bansuri. The classical musicians do not transpose and play it from the natural S - Like the greats of Hariji. Thank you for the post.
Anil Pillai : Dr Anilji you have clarified something so useful for learners and aspirants, only a classical flute player like you can do that..! Would love to hear your
***postings on RUclips...!
Very cool, dude. Quick question, how does the flashback compare to the TTE? Do you think is a convincing simulation? (I just ask because youtube audio quality is definitely not perfect).
I feel they are quite different in so many ways, ymmv
Fabulously played raaga Bhairvi with great accompaniment of guitar, the painter has created hauntingly beautiful picture with sound.....!!! Thanks for upload. .
Thanks Prabhakar!
kai oatey : Prasannaji has done a tremendous job here considering he hasn’t recorded before, selection of background is artistic, each and every shot is great for painting..! I paint watercolour and play flute, this rendering of Bhairavi touches heart. What scale the flute is , D or G, doesn’t sound like E...?
Sharyn is so cute
Listening to this brings me to a place of deep beingness.
Happy to hear that Solana!
Hauntingly beautiful!!!
Thanks Deborah!
