How to make cream of mushroom soup
comforting, full of flavour and utterly satisfying! This is how to make cream of mushroom soup, from scratch with Justme Soup Maker

Ingredients
1 clove of garlic, minced
about 8 Chestnut mushrooms
Red onion, about 2 sliced chopped
1/2 tsp Dried thyme
knob of butter
200ml Vegetable stock ( you can use 1/2 stock cube or stockpot or your own veg stock )
Tablespoon of crème fraiche
Instructions
Start by chopping the mushrooms, onion and mince the garlic

I love making all sorts of soups in my Just Me Soup maker, and I was wondering how to make Cauliflower Cheese Soup, now I know. 😂 Just the job as I recover from a 2 week hospital stay. Do you have to put hot water? Or will it make hot soup even with cold water?
No you don't have to use hot water , cold water is fine because the soup maker will work its magic. in this example we have used hot water to melt the stock pot

I’m going to get one of these - I was just thinking that it would be nice to not have to make a big batch of soup (we love our big soup maker but end up putting half of it in the fridge) and my spouse is not a fan of leeks so being able to make leek and potato soup just for me will be great. Good for being away from home too. I can see myself making some work smoothies as well.

Is the soup maker loud when blending?
when it is cooking the soup it makes no noise all. Yes it does make some noise when blending but it is not crazy loud! The double wall construction ( Stainless steel inside and plastic outside) does help somewhat with the noise levels.
