I have to admit, I didn't even hear of Tegan and Sara until Closer came out, and have only listened to them sporadically up until recently. Granted, part of the reason is because I want to be able to get over an unrequited love of mine, and for reasons that are probably obvious, the music has been really helping me out. So thank you to my unrequited love for helping me reconnect with a band that I should have been connected with a couple decades ago at least, and thank you Tegan and Sarah for getting it. Also, thank you for uploading this. And for what it's worth, I'm definitely not straight 😘

Crazy. I knew I saw them at Cafe Du Nord (SUPER tiny weird venue). But I have no memory of the actual show. And then I find this and I see the back of my head. Watched the whole thing and I remember none of this.

I know people keep saying a lot of these high school demo's are really good. And I think in context they were. They were new singers/writers and VERY young.. But most of them were pretty rough with a few catchy parts or lyrics and potential. But this song... is actually really good even if they were to write it now. Only a couple little weird things, but other than that... so solid and catchy the whole way through.
