If you listen around the 2 min 50 sec mark you can hear some old artifacts of where the cassette’s tape has been recorded over but some of the previous song/take is still there. Very faintly.

I have to admit, I didn't even hear of Tegan and Sara until Closer came out, and have only listened to them sporadically up until recently. Granted, part of the reason is because I want to be able to get over an unrequited love of mine, and for reasons that are probably obvious, the music has been really helping me out. So thank you to my unrequited love for helping me reconnect with a band that I should have been connected with a couple decades ago at least, and thank you Tegan and Sarah for getting it. Also, thank you for uploading this. And for what it's worth, I'm definitely not straight 😘
