Let me begin by saying i'm not a big car guy. Looking back, most of my life choices have been made around being able to ride my bike everywhere I need to go.
But an unfortunate part of riding bikes for fun is that you can't always ride your bike to the places you want to ride your bike at, and with that sad fact in mind, I decided I needed a way to travel with the omnium where it wasn't crammed up inside of our tiny hatchback.
So I hobbled together a roof rack for my Omnium! I used 1up USA van trays (1up-usa.com/product/van-tray), extruded aluminum from T-Nutz and Dam Good Bike hinges (damgood.bike/products/ouch-1-omnium-utter-cargo-hinge) to help fully secure it to the rack (highly recomme...

My favorite bikes usually have two specific things: a dropper post and a dynamo. I love 'em. And all my bikes have at least one if not both. Follow along as I fix some damaged dynamo wiring, and drill a hole in my titanium cargo bike to clean up the dropper post routing.

The only other thing I've been into as long as I've been into riding bikes is taking photos, today I thought I'd share my experience combining the two in a city I've only recently grown to love, with a camera I've been shooting with for 10 years, and getting around on the best transportation to see a place, using a bag a friend made, while documenting the whole process.

Took the Omnium Cargo on an overnighter with The Spindle on their first campout of 2022. We rode 61 miles (98km) total out and back to Towerhouse Farm Brewery who graciously let us camp on the farm a hundred meters from the tap room. Good times were had, good dogs patted, and cool country views were witnessed on this roaring adventure an hour south of Atlanta, homebase to The Spindle Custom Bags.

Lookout Mountain straddles the border between Tennessee and Georgia and makes an awesome spot for bike camping thanks to a few connecting trails.
