JUXTAPOSITIONS is a series of transdisciplinary lectures on the topic of contemporary cultural production curated and moderated by visiting professor Lukas Feireiss for the Studium Generale at the Berlin University of the Arts. Here, various cultural producers - artists, designers, architects, and curators alike - from all around the world talk about their hybrid and heterogeneous professional practices. This lecture format understands itself as an open educational platform to challenge and renegotiate conventional classifications and categorizations in the world of arts and academia.At he heart of it are creative juxtapositions that embrace ambivalences, complexities, diversities, contradictions, cross-pollinations and collaborations.
