    How are we supposed to deal with the flash pass on the phone on rides that don’t allow anything at all? Jersey Devil or El Toro for example. You need to scan but are not allowed a phone 🤔🤔

    I would NOT and repeat NOT take any of the information this guy is talking about. I've ridden this ride over 200+ times and the front rows are the most uncomfortable and jerkiest seats on the train. Back two rows are the best and smoothest as long as you keep you head back at all times.

    Oh I'm back row outside seat all the way. Yeah it's rough, but I love it. I admittedly am not a good person to ask because 1) I don't like B&M except for early inverts and 2) At one time back row Pysclone was my favorite ride in the park.🤪

    The Flash Pass wait time may be for the Flash Pass waits. I rotate between Saturdays at Great America and Cedar Point... While, after walking all the way to Maverick and being surprised to find the Fast Lane line out onto the midway and around the corner, I have NEVER waited for more than a few minutes to get on rides using Flash Pass at Great America. Cedar Fair Fast Lane creates shorter lines, while 6 Flags Flash Pass creates MUCH shorter waits. Especially if you reserve your next ride as soon as your pass is scanned for your current ride.

    Closest thing to an X3 that properly fixes the issues X/X2 has is probably Eejanaika over in Japan. Not only does it run better, the layout and forces are much better and really take the concept to the next level. It's so wild that X2 actually feels kind of tame in comparison.

    Rode back in 2013, I didn't find it that rough and I can tolerate some roughness, if the ride has redeeming qualities. I did ride in the second row though. At the end of the ride everyone clapped especially when we returned to the station because we loved it so much. But it might have gotten rougher by the time you went.

      If it wasn't for the side seating X would be smooth. It has computer generated track. The issue is that the trains are outside the rails so it shakes a lot. The same can kinda be said with B&M wing coasters. It's hard to design a train designed like that to not rattle. All the weight is off the track

    very well edited. i actually very recently ridden x2 around 3 weeks ago. I liked the ride, but i couldn't get behind the ride simply because of the final raven turn. it slammed my head back and forth against the hard headrest. i ended getting a mini headache after riding but it luckily wore off after 5 minutes. i was in the 6th row, so second to back. i liked every part of the ride except the last raven turn. i thought the rest of the ride wasn't that rough.

    I rode it for the first time last Saturday and I could not agree less. The ride is absolutely incredible and I can put up with the roughness. My strategy was leaning forward the entire ride on the inside back row seat. Sorry you didn’t like it but this ride is incredibly perfect to me.

    There's no words to describe this ride. Waiting in line. Finally getting on only for your legs to dangle. Going backwards. The "it's good to be you" song playing like it was going to be some sort of family fun kiddie coaster only for the song to transition to Metallica's Enter Sandman. My blood was pumping at this moment. We were going backwards, high high up, until that big drop. I'm scared of big drops but that was terrifying. X2 literally destroys you as you twist and turn and bang your head and the Raven Turns are so crazy. Don't ride this again, your better off riding Kingda Ka or something. This coaster was fun but thrilling.

    This was one of my bucket listers. Was soooo excited to ride. My first ride on X2 almost knocked me out. Same spot. I've ridden a few more times just cuz it's there, and I really want to love it because of its insanity, but if you aren't fully bracing for airplane crash impact (tuck chin into chest as hard as you can and lean forward), your head will get demolished right before the brake run. The ride is absolute jank. You can see it in every off ride video. Just watch how "smooth" the rotation is coming out of the drop. Legs just bouncing everywhere. Ride might as well have square wheels. Glad I got to experience? Sure. Would I be gutted if they tore it down for a kiddie coaster? Nope. 😂

    • @NS10Fan
      @NS10Fan 14 дней назад

      @@GDNebula_ forward, no question. honestly, in most cases other than a launch, it's prolly the best practice. x2, the headrest feels ironically really comfy and soft, but if you let the ride ragdoll you and keep head back, you're gonna get wrecked (and prolly at the exact spot mentioned in vid). on really rough wooden ones, it's usually my back that gets jackhammered (there aren't usually headrests high enough). best bet is to scooch as far forward as you can and use any handlebar to pull on and keep back away from seatback! i know...i sound like a wuss who "can't handle it," and i take those comments in stride, but it's more having a solid coaster count, mental tallies of how the good ones feel, and keeping benchmarks.

    Perfect, thank you. I really do wish these various similar but different systems were better explained on the website but I recognize this system from Kennywood, maybe they license it from Six Flags or some third party or something. Anyway the way we use the passes on long trips is a bit weird - we find if we go opening to close we're all exhausted. With the passes we can often finish things up quite a bit earlier in the day. It seems wasteful not to use the expensive pass every single minute but we have fewer post theme park crash days and get a lot more done on the trip overall which also means fewer hotel rooms. We don't typically do that for shorter trips but for longer trips it means not repeatedly grinding the family into the ground by doing 12+ hours a day in the summer heat.

    I've only ridden the coaster twice, once as late X and once as early X2. I had already gone to the park a good handful of times, amd X was always closed. When I heard that X was open around mid-day we made our way to it. The wait time was excessive considering we didn't see all that many people in line, and the experience overall just didn't feel worth the time. I mean, it felt cool but yeah I remember feeling like the rotations and directions didn't actually make much sense to me. Did X2 as that was open next time I went, didn't feel much better. It's been over a decade so my memories can be distorted, but I always felt like comparing it to the very smooth Tatsu which was a much more worthwhile experience.

With Worlds of Fun as my home park by default (Since I'm from Nebraska), I visit pretty frequently and I saw multiple improvements to the park between my visit this passed summer and the year before. Prowler is an amazing ride on a hot day at night. Still my favorite in the park. And the new Zambezi Zinger does a solid job bridging the gap between Spinning Dragons and the higher thrill coasters. I agree with Park Pros and his idea that the park has the potential to get something bigger in the near future, possibly to fit into when the World Cup comes to the city. I really think this park could become the new favorite child of Cedar Fair in the near future.
