Hi Please Can there be an accurate reading without the rest and stress test/ imaging undertaken. I only had a stress test with Lesican without the rest test done. and I am told that it's fine.(which I am not accepting) obviously, no 2nd image to compare -just as you clearly explained, Meanwhile all my symptoms are still there. I am challenging this. because having watched this video I don't think my myocardial perfusion scan is done properly. because no 2 images to compare.

Many he ,might have been better ,if they'd paid attention .as after they gave me the meds ,I was greatly ignored ,I felt horrible wanted to lay down somewhere .but no where to do that at.finally had the scan done .sent home after that and felt so lousy ,and ended up having a migraine headache for hours .and it took me a couple of weeks before I started to feel any different.

I plan on doing Nuclear Medicine after I’m done with Rad tech program.

Is another side effect of the contrast dye that your urine is bright, fluorescent yellow ? If so, men and their partners need to be aware that ALL body fluids are similarly affected as stains can ruin your bedding and sleepwear ( sorry Too Much Information, but it' can be a real problem ).

I had a water soluble CAT scan today and something went wrong. I won’t get into how they said nothing to me when they brought me back I had these in the past wirh no problem. As they stated the contrast, I first got a bad stinging near the IV site, then it became unbearable with pain going down my arm to my hand. I was screaming now in pain. Then my hand and arm started spasming. She stopped the flow, and made me go through the machine a few times but when done I asked if it worked, and she said, it was not sharpe “because you made me stop it”! What the heck was that all about? I never had this happen in the past. I always felt the warm sensation in my gut, and once maybe a metallic taste but never pain.

Me watching the Superman procedure hearing them say what they have to do or else they could kill the patient so nonchalantly with music. Oh yeah, I’m not worried at all. Not one bit.

I’m so scared… I failed my exercise stress test and now going to do the nuclear…😟 I like watching videos of the process so I know what to expect and it helps calm my anxiety, thank you for your video😇

When I had my CT scan with IV contrast here in Australia, I had to lay on a bed and not move while having the IV for about an hour beforehand, then they removed it, and wheeled me into the CT scan

Cons: radiation exposure & a lot of heavy material. Lead is your best friend. 😂

I've been a pharmacy technician for some time, should I keep my pharm tech license active or does it not matter once you're accepted into the program?

Thank you for your video it was definitely worth watching. I know this video was 4 years ago but I am considering NMT but I am afraid that I may not be smart enough. I do have a BS in Biology and I was hoping to tackle a MS degree in something related but it looks like this program is a certificate. How do I manage school with my full-time job? I live alone and need to pay my bills.

I feel as if no one talks about, the radiation exposure and its link to developing cancer. Were you at all concerned about that? I am considering this field but nervous about that.

You won’t have much free time doing any program and that’s the truth!

This seems rather haphazard if the tester gets to choose and create names. I would think the tester would be prompted for test areas and that these would have specific names that would make retrieval later a much easier task. It would make comparisons across patient easier to understand allowing knowledge collection..

If the nurse got air in the tube that was life threatening u said would that happen straight away the side affects of that or could it happen later ?

Hello. I’m still a bit unclear. Would you recommend to get a bachelors in nuclear medicine technology or the AS degree?

i have ct scan of chest-abdomen-pelvis and nuclear bone scan every 6 months...I have 1 kidney due to cancer with an average creatnine of 1.8...I do not get the contrast with my ct scans but now my cardiologist wants to do a angiogram on me through the artery with the contrast. Is this the same contrast thats used for the ct scans? I have a consult with him next week. How do I tell him I cant have this done? Are there any other options to find blockages?

Im allergic to iodine to the contrast so they cant use this...i usually do an mri or different contrast
