George Harrison on the Soul
Просмотров 264 тыс.18 лет назад
Listen to George Harrison speak about the transcendental nature of the soul.
No proof that there is soul
Love George- but his wonky spirituality? Not so much
17 years ago is today ❤
The essence: Atmp ❤🕉🍃✨️🌱
Hare Krishna.
George said: these are not out bodies..
The world outside is none of your business… clean your house and move on with YOUR life. Now I should listen to my own advice.
It's often commented that George was ahead of his time. He wasn't. It's just that modern civilization has fallen so behind the times. George was tapped into a yogic/Hindu wisdom base of awareness that spans back at least a few thousand years. We -- modern Western Civilizaion (which has now infected the East) -- have become existentially tone deaf to this ancient wisdom, which strikes the modern ear as channeling superstition, ignorance, etc.
Well said George Greed is Karma as well
I love the two references songs which hold the truth.. George has great spiritually incite. I also look at it this way, with a bit of another George...that being Carlin. No matter what we do, the planet will be just fine. If we want to be stupid enough to pollute the air, befoul the water, which in the end kills us off, planet Earth couldn't care less. It has been around for 4.5 billion years, and it will be around for tens of billions more simply going around the sun. And when this pesky species called Humans is no longer here, it will cleanse itself, and heal itself. It has tens of billions of years, until either the sun dies out or when Andromeda crashes into the Milky Way.
Oh, how I miss that man's energy... strong and sweet!
Love you George. It's getting better all the time.
I love that man!
Miss him
George was a man of deep spirituality love his words of wisdom. Hare krishna 🙏
Only with KRSNA can we have eternal life, Hare KRSNA.
What a beautiful message. Love you, George! Always have 💜
Such a Beautiful Heart and Soul, George 💜
What an incredible man! A true messenger of God
George was an conscern activist in his own right. But he was too famous to actually get the ball rolling. + Ppl may not undsntd this comment.
Can anyone provide a link to the full interview?
It's here on RUclips but RUclips doesn't allow to share the link. Just search for George Harrison and Ravi Shankar Interview 1997 for French Television part 1 and 2. Cheers
Hold out beer George!
Love George, what a legend and so humble and spiritual
Bless you George. I agree.
Hope you're right, George!
I just can't believe this beautiful man isn't with us anymore...miss you George ❤️
It is just his physicality which is not here. Our energy neither is created or destroyed, it just is.
He's in the astral plane
"Sad about the world being concreted and the forests chopped down..." George was a golden heart and soul.
Yes 💜
Paul (not McCartney) may have been exaggerating when he said that the root of all evil is the love of money, but it’s certainly the root of most evil, and what is the love of money but a form of insanity, a particularly malignant form of insanity, because other people suffer from it much more than the insane person. Just look about, and you’ll discover that most of your acquaintances manifest at least a mild form of this insanity. They’re inculcated with it.
I see it
George Harrison when he gets blown up by H-Bombs but it's okay
That is so disrespectful jeremy. Please take this down. :(
Do you know where this whole interview is? Would love to see it

meanwhile, this man lived in a huge castle. how many trees did they axe and how much concrete did they lay down for that? liberals don't live up to their own ideology.
I agree with Mr. Harrison!
Happy Birthday George xxx
found this clip again . thought it was banned
Yah George
one of the most upbringing clips ive seen in long. George was clearly a very wise man with a great view on life & existence as we know it. He is one of those people who just seem to broaden horizons and enlighten you on why life is worth living. And on top of that he was an amazing musican and song writers! truly one of a kind
very well said!
Amen George. Love from "down here."
Gravy trains is a cozy place. BUT IF YOU DON'T LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO SEE EXTINCTION OF SPECIES . . . then WHERE is the guilt then? Why is YOUR love so much more desirable in this 'love atmosphere' that brings you residuals and plenty of ass kissers around you to extoll your virtues, Mr. Vegetarian? Your babies . . . but NOT our babies?!?
There is a way to a better world, and it all starts with you becoming a better person ~~► start by reading "The Present".
I grew up with the Beatles and I love them all. Love George and his wisdom, too.
Lawrance Ovarabia Are you without Sin? I try to look at people and appreciate the good I see. No one knows what George was going thru inside. I leave judging to God and worry about my own back yard, so to speak.
Everyone in this world is on a journey. Not all of us takes the same path. But one thing for sure, we all learn from our mistakes. Some mistakes are more powerful and ultimate then other lessons. George learned he was dieing because of his choice to smoke, etc.. And then he passed on from it. I am not celebrity worshipping. You couldn't be more wrong when it comes to me. I enjoy all kinds of good in many kinds of people, and life in general. My parents taught me to look for the good in others, and look for the good in each and every day. For someone who doesn't know me, you are sure full of judging others. I suggest you keep your nose in your own back yard and judge yourself. What have you learned lately concerning yourself? That is what you should be focusing on. Peace.
happy b'day .
I don't like George Harrison. I grew up next door to him and my parents were good friends with his parents. He used to laugh at me because I'm in a wheelchair and I'm paraplegic. In fact, old Georgie was a mean prankster he would remove my diapers from the trash and throw them all over the lawn to show the neighborhood I pooped my pants because I'm in a wheelchair.
very true, see with the progression of technology and the will for total annihilation we will all be dead in the blink of an eye. if there are people who are willing to blow themselves up and kill maybe ten people, then if there was a button to blow up the world.thousands of hands will want to press it. and with the prog of tech, the ease of building a massive H bomb to destroy the planet is very feasible. the largest bomb ever detonated was from 1961 and well before the internet.
sounds very christian, of course jesus came from the arabic region so his teaching had to have spread west to india. muhammad was the cousin or nephew of the wealthiest gold mining company in the middle east. even today, wealth brings education, so back in muhammad's time he visited a city in what is now spain and studied every religion known to man. by the time he studied these religions jesus had been dead for a few hundred years and christianity had spread thickly through the Mediterranean
Since when is India west of Arabia? Since when does Christianity predate Hinduism? Some of you types are very amusing.
I do believe we will all end in a nuclear war. Gone in minutes at any time!
This is how I feel too. It's weird how I have said and thought the exact same. I look around at the world with all the man made things and the concrete everywhere and think what r we doing to our earth. It's very unnatural. I believe that the Government is selfish and evil. Even though it changes a little in generations. I also have had my first memory being a soul. A star like bright light. Knowing and seeing my life before it happened. That memory never fades.
I love listening to him talk, he is brilliant.
Yes, but he was the only gay Beatle.
Lol, what? He was married twice... to women.
I like him because of his association with the Beatles but I would never say he was "magnificent". I reserve such praise for those who change or alter history in one way or another. George was never a great guitar player or a great singer but he contributed a lot to the musical landscape.
Manual Arjona , George organized the first charity rock concert. He also gave to other charities. He was not one to be in the public eye and brag about everything he did. Educate yourself on how he could raise millions of dollars in the blink of an eye. He called his friends and they would make records and every penny of it went to certain places who desperately needed help. He was a great singer and guitar player. Have you listened to his last CD Brainwashed? He has made many excellent CDs. He was a spiritual man and he truly cared about the world.
He is just magnificent
