I have several sets of Proto tools as my father used to sell them. Most of mine are 60 years old or more. Sadly, the new Proto tools that I've purchased aren't as good. Softer metal--the open end wrenches flex and round off nuts & bolts. I've got some 60 year old diagonal cutters that will still cut hair, but the new ones won't. Thanks for the video!

As an Asian, we have more number of two wheelers than cars in some parts of our cities. Carburreted ones have been manufactured until the year 2020. And now all of em are efi. But many of those currently running are carburreted, and are a real pain to start during winters. Does this pumping thing work on two wheels also? Ive tried and noticed it quite clearly that it does make a good difference but i still wonder weather its just misconception or reality.

Do I need to disconnect o2 sensor connector to put on an o2 spacer? I mean I know the sensor needs to come out to put the spacer on, but do I need to disconnect the sensor from the electrical connector end as well? Will the wires wind up tight if I try to just take out the sensor without disconnecting the wire?

If ported were best, there would be no need to stop timing with whatever tool you choose to stop it with. Manifold not only cures every single idle issue (assuming the other things are correct) it also completely goes away when timing needs capped. So you still have good idle, still have desirable total timing, still have vacuum when you let off throttle, run cooler, more fuel efficient, and I guess I’m done 😂. Also, anything the government invented, no thank you

I struggled with this unit I did a deep dive and learned how to recurve my distributor and truly understand its function. Your video lays it out and is easy to understand. Before I had always ran ported vacuum. Now its manifold, idles cleaner and lower temps on hot days

The 300 is a powerhouse. I have one in my'65 F100 2WD. I put on a set of the efi exh mnflds. Wow ! the difference in power is...stunning ! This includes two plain jane mufflers, two short runs that turn before the pass rear tire. Less backpressure. Well worth the $.

On Corvairs you must use ported as the carb was designed at idle to have the advanced OFF so you can get a stable idle with the dual carbs. Once you just crack the throttle it is virtually manifold vac,. There was no emission requirements in 60-64 when many were using ported.

Here’s the truth. Once the throttle plate is cracked open it doesn’t matter. Manifold and ported vacuum are the same. So then it comes down to idle. Who cares. If your’re car is overheating at idle and manifold vacuum clears it up it means your cooling system is marginal and stinks. Personally I found the ported vacuum gave me more consistent idle rpm’s and for that I’ll live with the laughably small reduction in fuel efficiency at idle.
