One Lap at RAD Torque in Edmonton AB on the MWR Snow City Cycle Marine Kawasaki Ninja 400RR. I just love how the Hindle Megaphone sounds on this motorcycle.

MWR trackday with the new 2024 Kawasaki ZX4RR

Mack managed to try out the new 2024 Kawasaki ZX4RR during a trackday session. The ZX4RR has Bridgestone R11 racing slicks and a Scott Cartier Racing flash and tune. The ZX400RR also has the Hindle Prototype exhaust installed.

I was very lucky to be able to ride the new Kawasaki ZX4RR on the track with racing legend Jordan Szoke riding the super charged Kawasaki H2R. Jordan passes me at the 2 minute mark on the straight, he also gave me half a lap head start lol. I really enjoyed the opportunity, thank you Bridgestone CSBK and Canadian Kawasaki.

Nothing like my friend and Pro Superbike rider Tomas Casas reminding me that even though my new Kawasaki ZX6R is fast, it's nothing like a Pro Superbike.

Fantastic stuff! Did you use your own camera Mack? Chin mount or tank mount? Love to know. Very cool! 😎
Are these events segregated by cc or anything? As someone who doesn't know anything about anything, it seems daft to have a mismatch in closing speeds like that, even when you claw every inch of it back in the turns. Or maybe that's the whole point? How little of a hammer do you need to drive the same nail as these guys... I have this bike, and I think I'm hot shit just pissfarting around town. I could NEVER do what you do, man. Bravery.
zx4rr 25k usd 2024 or zx6 36k usd 2024???
A very interesting layout 👍. Not too sure about the concrete walls , they look a bit close. 🤔
I may get an entry to race in the Ultra Lightweight class on the Isle of Man. As you may know, it's super fast. How big are you, and were you running stock wheels and tire sizes? Looks like you reached 130 mph with a double bike draft with a slight rise. What do you think it will do on flat tarmac with all the tricks pulled to get yourself out of the air? Thanks!
I'm 5'11ish. The bike is stock here but has the flash and slicks. My race prepped 400RR is closer to 140-145mph and close to 75HP
@@mackweilracing 145 down the Sulby Straight is what I'm looking for.
These are so much more fun than 600's. So easy to get everything out of these ZX4RR's, still be fast, but not feel like the bike is exhausting you or like you have to take extra care to not kill yourself.
Great riding! If you had to choose between a zx4rr and a zx6r for a track bike(but also keeping it street legal). What would you choose? Coming from a stock ninja 400 and would rather move up a little before I dump a bunch of money into the ninja 400. I weigh 220 and am fairly athletic if that matters. New into it, but planning on 4 track days a year.
I actually race both the ZX4RR and the ZX6R in my series but we have a ZX4RR for the road that is flashed. Much cheaper on insurance than a 600 for the road and just as fun.
hello bro& how i can off ABS on this bike? can you help me?
What we did for my 400RR track bike was to take all the ABS lines out of the ABS Hub but leave the hub connected. The bike still thinks there is ABS but you run new braided lines to the front and read masters. You don't get the weight savings from deleting the hub but everything works. As I say, this is for my track 400RR that doesn't see the road.
Spectacular video and excellent riding! Thanks for sharing!
Outstanding! the best ive seen some one ride one of these yet. keeping the rpms high. what track is this?
Canadian Tire Motorsports Park formally Mosport
Jest moc 🙂
This bike should be use for Moto3 class.
How much does it cost to do this kind of thing?
The flash and exhaust were under $1000cdn. Not bad at all for basically 20 additional HP
Your cornering braking and entry speed is far superior to the riders around you, rode the bike on its limits and sounded amazing 👏 had a big bike on the road for around 9 years with somewhat reasonable experience but would be more than happy to ride this or a 600 as my first track day, next year is the year to make it happen for me, Awesome Ride There Brother 👌
Thank you very much.
I saw 135 and thought HOLY COW! Then I realized, kph. I'm in the US, great riding though, looks like fun.
Ufo's are real!
That looks an absolute riot to ride! Anyone can ride fast in a straight line. I really quite fancy one of these to keep my 765RS company. That's the same, doesn't have big top speed but through the corners it's a scream! Sounds standard too so with tuning work and full exhaust etc be even better! Best video on the zx4rr on track I've seen.
ABOUT time someone rode this who can ACTUALLY ride!!! I am building this for my next race bike 100%!
FINALLY!!!! the FIRST video on youtube that really show someone pushing this ZX4rr to the limits and giving answers to what most people want to know. YES it is worth RACING a 600cc in a track and you can keep up. THANK YOU MACK
people only ask becuase of the idiots who think only a 1000cc is good enough
The 400 was a hoot to ride, however it was totally stock, so it felt really squishy compared to my ZX6. With some suspension work this will be weapon and 600 killer for sure. Thanks for your comments
Hows the handling on this bike? Does it flick fast? Is it low or high centre of gravity? How does it hold a line or change direction?
There was only around 500km street riding on this, other than the dyno runs so I haven't really had a chance to get used to it on the track. It was stock suspension so it felt squishy compared to my ZX6 but with some tuning to the stock stuff or better yet some aftermarket suspension it would be amazing. It's so much fun to ride.
what track is this?
Mosport in Ontario, Canada.
Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (Formally Mosport) in Bowmanville Ontario
