Delineating the potential groundwater zones using Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a viable apparatus. In recent years, broad utilization of satellite information along with conventional maps and amended ground truth information, has made it simpler to set up the standard data for groundwater potential zones. Remote sensing not only provides a wide-range scale of the space-time distribution of observations but also saves time and money. (Kumar et al. 2014). In addition, it's widely used to characterize the earth's surface (such as lineaments, drainage patterns and lithology) yet on examine the groundwater recharge zones.

    Thank you Mr. K.M Bushira for such a wonderful explanation. I'm Sierra Leonean and trying to do a model for a local state. I've imported the model and try to generate a grid,but,the software is telling me "Grid generation canceled because only one column boundary would have been created. I've tried so many other ways to do it,but to no avail. Would be so happy if anyone would help

    Dear Sir, I have question about runoff calculation from CNgids. I used hec-geohms to create CNgrid, I want to find runoff from SCS equation. I have the interpolated rainfall map and maximum retention(S) found from CNgrids and i used raster calculater to find runoff, however every time the result of the created raster is zero. how you advice me to solve this issue. Thanks in advance for your respond

      Follow the procedure.you have to interpolate it to be displayed in the cross section view.

      The observed (measured) groundwater level data would be used for calibration purpose.Hope this will help.

      In MODFLOW, what is important the Recharge derived from ppt when you delt with subsurface flows. You can use infiltration derived from ppt in UZF package or recharge rate from the surface water balance.

      Hi Seyed, which GUI are you using.ModelMuse? Could you please use ModelMuse 3.9 or more. I havent ever had failure in modeflow package selection. If you failed to correct it, send me you model as zip file, i can check. it.
