Homophobes, Love Thy Queer Neighbor
Просмотров 3,2 тыс.17 лет назад
I missed gay pride month? Darnit! Oh well, heres a little belated video. Its directed mainly at the haters (Though everyone else will love it too) like Fundamentalist Christians and Homophobes in General. Yeah... so this is my first video on RUclips. I hope to get a video camera so I can start some blogs, mainly on topics like Cults, Religion, Queer Rights, Atheism and Free Love. Might also do ...
good to see you and glad to hear you doing well,ny best wishes for you take care Jenny
@Bearrick No, before I knew I was bisexual I still thought the same way. You have no right to judge what kind of parents same-sex couples will be or how their children will turn out! I know plenty of people who were in a single-parent family and turned out fine! You have no right to judge that! Stop posting false statistics and go rant about it somewhere else!
@Bearrick Is the point of two people falling in love simply to reproduce? Biologically, maybe. But many couples choose to get married and not have children, or can't have children. You speak of benefits, but what's the "benefit" of two people getting married who don't want children? If the population is not too high, why did China see the need to limit the number of children per family? Overpopulation is a major problem in the world. The human race will survive if more people are gay. Seriously.
@Bearrick Who are you to judge the kind of parents a couple will be? I wouldn't care if I had parents of the same sex, so who are you to say I have psychological issues? Kids from a family with two mothers or two fathers turn out fine, just as a kid from a single-parent family turns out fine. Who do you think you are to judge that? Also, didn't quite get the toleration/accepting thing. You do or you don't tolerate it? Does this affect you in any way and is it enough to deny gays their rights?
@Bearrick Adopting is a civil right of married couples. Why is it that because they happen to be in love with their own gender makes it so wrong? Who is to say they will be bad parents because there are two girls or two guys? What do you think accepting their lifestyle is, anyways? Again, not asking you to be gay.
@Bearrick We knew very little about aids back then when it was found in the gay community. Should they be punished for that though? Honestly, then you might as well take rights away from people who can't have children for natural causes or who don't want children at all. If there's a population issue, it's that there are too many of us. And don't say that I'm saying human life shouldn't exist, because the human we're talking about hasn't even started yet.
@Bearrick 1. That may be a risk, but unplanned pregnancies are a risk of being straight, is it not? Raising awareness about safe sex in the gay community is all anyone can do about AIDS. 2. They can't donate blood, many people choose not to or can't, but is that morally wrong? 3. Remember when I said, "Think about how it affects the average straight person's life"? What about being in love? What about being happy? No one is asking you to be gay! What's the benefit to being straight then?
@Bearrick Okay, so we believe differently that it's a choice, because there's really no proof of either side, is there? But I'm curious, just tell me three reasons why it's morally wrong, besides "gays don't reproduce" because that would be like not letting an impotent man or infertile woman get married. Just saying. And when you're writing these reasons, think about how it affects the average straight person's life. And I'm just trying to have a productive conversation, no negativity intended.
@Bearrick Just for the record, Michael Jackson didn't actually try to "turn white." He was diagnosed with vitiligo, which turns your skin white over time. Look it up. Anyways, you didn't get my main point there. You can't choose to be gay. Once again, who would? People like you hate them. They are denied their rights countless times throughout their lives. Wouldn't they choose to be straight if they could? And so what if they do? So what if they don't? Do gay people in love affect your life?
@Bearrick Can you choose to be born in a different racial background? No, and yet so many people hated blacks not that long ago and for what reason? Well, they probably thought it was "unnatural." Who would choose to be hated and prejudiced? I don't mean any negativity or hatred, just think about it.
Homosexuality and bisexuality are not sicknesses. Maybe you're the sick one.
Great video hon. I really like XD.
I forgot, the song is from Anime Bleach
song: "Autumn Monologue" Artist: Melanie Wills
Aw...this vidoe is...cute. I don't kkow why I feel the need to describe it that way...and, yay! *waves bixsexuality pride flag* Yeah...fundementalist Christians annoy me...as well as homophobes. there's nothing wrong with it. i didn't choose, nor did you, nor did anyone else, to be like this...*Crosses arms and glares at homophobs* What song is this? YOU MUST TELL ME!!!
Yes, you can be born gay, Bearrick. You say that the young don't think of sexuality. Don't they think of love? Romance? Get crushes? Fantasize about the future? I am straight and when I was 4 I wanted a boyfriend. So did my best friend, who happened to be a boy
thank you! i know right
we have souls. a soul falls in love with a soul. soul does not have a gender
frankly I think people who take religious scripture as literal truth are the mentally challenged ones - too thick to interpret anything for themselves. Certainly not the homosexuals.
One thing I still don't understand is that although homosexuals (rightfully) don't want to be labeled as having something 'wrong' with them refer to themselves as 'queer'. Just seems like, er, shooting yourself in the foot a bit, that's all. I like your vid though, hopefully it has made some people think. As for fundamentalists... just ignore them, they're not worth your time...
"Gays get called names maybe beaten up and occasional disowned by their family but it happens to straight people to." When is the last time a heterosexual got disowned by his/her family for being heterosexual?
Seeing as you did not bother to actually read my comment, I don't feel the need to give you actual evidence that homosexuals were imprisoned by the Nazis for the "crime" of being homosexual. And I don't know what town you live in, but I doubt it's this one.
Two quotes from a book that is pretty vast. The Bible was written in an age when barely anything was known about anything; no scientific research etc. To quote from this book and say that those discriminating words; a mere two lines are enough to place a debate on the entire foundation of Christianity in which you are stating are against homosexuality is absurd.
