FREECE TRICOLORI & MORE | EAA Airventure Oshkosh, WI Airshow TUE 6/23
Sorry for the long length, but it was a packed airshow, which included a US Air Force Heritage Flight with a P-51, F-22, F-35, and A-10, the Freece Tricolori from Italy, and many other warbirds. I also got to see many planes on the ground, and the A-10 Demo team from Tucson's Davis-Monthan perform on their farewell tour. I've seen these whistling birds many times in Tucson, and they will be missed as DM is retiring them slowly. It was a great day, and be sure to like and subscribe for Friday's show as well as the Milwaukee show, where the Italian Freece Tricolori will also highlight. Every spotter has that one plane they barely caught, and this happens to be the one. See some of the national monuments and sights I saw on my trip to Washington, DC, the capital of the United States. Seeing the monuments at night provide for a very cool experience as well as not many other tourists than during the day. It's always cool to spot the Milwaukee Air and Water show from Mitchell Airport, because you can see the usual airliner traffic, with some military aviation in between. Former US President Donald Trump stopped in Racine for a campaign rally this past June, and his plane landed in Milwaukee, which also happens to be where the Republican National Convention will be held. See my shots of this B-25 Mitchell bomber that came down to Racine, Wisconsin a few months ago. This Mitchell bomber (N10V) came down from Oshkosh to give rides, and this video is its last takeoff back to Oshkosh from the weekend. Here are my shots of McDonell-Douglas AV-8 Harriers for the US Marine Corps in Milwaukee from back in May. Great video! What camera setup have you used for stills? Or were they screengrabs? I am planning to attend this year's edition. Any suggestions concerning place/spot to capture such footage? Thanks!
I used the canon SX540 for both, some laps I took pictures, some videos. For stills I now use a Nikon DSLR but the video on my point and shoot is definitely better. Hope you enjoy this year show it’s gonna be a really good one with the Freece, and honestly going to Bradford Beach is your best place to see the actual show while going to the airport and just spotting there isn’t a bad option either. I do one day of both every year and try to make it for practice too.

Unfortunately they will not be at Oshkosh Air-venture because the airshow box is too small for the maneuvers. At Milwaukee this upcoming the airshow will feature the Thunderbirds!
@sandrahennig5737 thank you! It is incredible what the stunt pilots do, and there’s an Italian demo team coming to OSH and MKE this year which will be cool to see

Hi maxx this is Subsonic Aviation! We met up at MKE when the blue angels were practicing. Just wanted to say I love your videos and will continue to watch them! My personal favorite was the 2022 Milwaukee air and water show! (it was great) Yet again I am so happy we met up and I hope we meet again sometime! (btw congrats on 100 subs!🥳🎉)

One thing I forgot to mention, they couldn’t find in-flight entertainment options, but I think there were some, even though there was no seat back screen. CPAC screens on a 777 are not common, as this one must be used solely for domestic operations.

This is a relocation flight for this A321 normally does MKE-SLC mornings, redeye for you the crew just want the aircraft in MKE guarantee the screens will be working in the morning
We have gotten A321 flights from ATL-MKE for a while, and Delta has cancelled MKE-SLC flights because no one’s buying those flights because they were overcharging for them. Things change as this was now two years ago
It’s not 4 hrs from Phoenix to Milwaukee, more like 3hrs. And 20 min from wheels up to wheels down
