All Fusion's Fusamatic electrofusion fittings are manufactured utilising coated wire technology. The coated wire design provides damage protection of the integral heating wire, efficient gap closure due to polymer coating expansion and prevents localised polymer degradation on the pipe surface as the wires are not exposed to the oxygen in the atmosphere as well as temperature stability across the fusion zones.
