I see that design as mostly inconvenient, whether you are using the boat alone or with someone else.
Have you had a chance to try it yet? Inconvenient in what way?
@@backcountrypackraftrentals7386 , the seat in the middle, which cannot be repositioned or removed, can only prove to be inconvenient when trying to find a way to sit in the raft. Actually, sitting IN the raft seems impossible - unless you are a child or a midget. Because of that, this boat can only be good on perfectly flat water, which reduces its usefulness almost completely.

Ya, I haven't personally tried that yet, but if its possible in a packraft, it would be the rendezvous- the thwart seat style definitely provides a level of stability not previously experienced in packrafts. I'll follow up when I have more info on how well you can cast from it.
They had someone standing and fishing in the front in a picture… is that really possible. I can’t imagine so would love to know
can you give your thouhts/review on the new style seat backrest? compared to the backband?
Good question. I actually haven't had a chance to test it out personally but I will be getting them back from their first adventure race rental in the next week so I'll try to get some feedback from the racers on that.

I just spent twenty minutes trying to get a two piece aluminum paddle apart. It took a torch, vice, and some sweat lol
Ya change in temp can help. If you have a chest freezer sticking it in there for awhile can help also
