I taped this entire "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" because it was the first national tv publicity I ever got for ASF (a photo of the building appears at the end. Trust me it was a big thing at the time) I'm so glad I still have this amazing stand-up by Henry Cho, his first appearance on the Tonight Show. I still quote it to this day. Jonly Bonly Stewart.

I love hearing good ol’ boys from down home in Tennessee.(Even if he’s from the Big City and I’m from up in the East Tenn hills)
His jokes never get old. I use the "clicking noise" joke at work. WORKS EVERY TIME
Love this man! Always wonderful.
😂😂😂😂😂
I sooooooo LOVE him
I’m a fan of Star Trek, starting from TOS days. So, having seen this set when it originally aired, I have always loved and remembered the “to Boldlygo” joke - I even remembered I’d heard it on The Tonight Show, but could never, ever remember who told it. Been watching Henry Cho shorts on YT for a while, and tonight, finally decided to do a deep dive on his material. Can hardly believe, after 32 years, I finally found this joke again! Thanks so much for posting this!!!! You just freed up some major space in my brain … and at a time in life when I can probably really use it!!
Greatest!
Still telling the same jokes in 2024! And they are still funny!
Nice CLEAN comedy.
Hilarious man
86 yrs and Iove this guy. So nice and clean. South carolina
Henry had them rolling
Jonly Bonly from Boldly Go 🤣
Rocking that mullet!
I like Henry Cho because he is clean and funny!
I live in Huntsville, Alabama and he isn't kidding about Arab...
Wild he’s still using that quiche bit
She's not his sister!!! Lol!! He was just on some podcasts not long ago talking about how she started and spread that rumor around when she got started in business to gain some notice for herself on his coattail.
Was supposed to attached to the person's comment spreading false claim from Margaret that she was his sister; she's not Henry's sister.
Who?
I was just going to take a drink after Cho joked about JB shooting Zete, when he finished the joke with Zete's last words were "What's that clicking noise?" I almost spat all over the screen.🤪
He might even be better than his sister Margaret!
Sadly , young folks wouldn't get the army joke these days! Ir the Cowboys & Indians
The mon is so funny higha
I remember this 😂
Great comedian and not smutty!! Glad his videos popped up. He is right about the way women talk lol
He's been telling the same jokes since 1992? I have watched several of his videos on RUclips. All the same.
My wife and I say Jonly Bonly from Boldly Go very frequently 😀
Husband & I do too!!!
👏
white wanna be corean 😂😂
A great comedian is one who can make you laugh without all the cussing and vulgar sex talk which most do nowadays. Jonly bonly Stewart gets me every time
Mine was ... What's that clickin' noise? 😂😂
So true.
Yes yes and yes. Refreshing and good. Thanks
Henry is the only comedian to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry since Jerry Clower.
Well... He and Gary Mule Deer🙃
I am a big fan of his but I didn't know that! Thank you for sharing. Grew up on Jerry Clower too!!
You forgot John Bright Russell.
Henry Cho is a good standup.
Dude, I just discovered this guy and had no idea he went this far back. This was around the time comedian Bill Hicks was still alive, and for some reason, Henry is giving me Bill Hicks vibe.
I used to record comedians on VHS tapes in the late 80’s and I had him recorded from either 1987 or 88 and we laughed so hard then my brother took my tape without asking and loaned it somebody and I never saw it again. It was a longer set and hilarious and we’ve been fans of him since.
Henry & Hicks are two of my all time favorites... both wickedly smart and observant with humor that sneaks up and gets ya where you've never been tickled before.
Wild he’s still using that quiche bit
He told the cook joke to Bob Hope, I thought Hope was going to croak.
I'm originally from Alabama. It's an honor to claim him whether or not he claims us. What a great comedian!
You from arab al?
@@Mr-pn2eh Pronounced "A-rab" (long 'A'). Naw, from Hueytown, actually, the home of race car drivers AKA NASCAR. I no longer live there.
he's from Tenesse

I want to meet Jonly Ponly.
It is Jonly Bonly. J B
I’m a 2000’s kid so I didn’t see this guy but bro was ahead of his time, he’s funny.
I'm a 1940's kid and I totally agree !
Good comedy never gets old.
I saw Henry for the first time, at a club called the Funny Bone in Knoxville in the 80's just as he was starting out. The emcee introduced him as a hometown guy. He walked on stage, said "How y'all doin'?" and most of us wound up laughing tears! We were all so shocked no one had the ability to stifle their full blown belly laugh!
He looks like Jerry Rice.
Terrible.
Incredible actor
He needs to make new stuff he's been doing the same act since he started seen a recent show and it's the same act
From November 4, 1993.
Well, it's true.
This was from a year before I was born, but why do I find a korean with southern Accent and clothes so attractive and funny?
Maybe your into K-pop?
Cause he's so unique and a really good person. He lives here in Nashville now !
Classic and funny still
Saw him at the Punch line
Did ya?
Fascinating watching a Korean talks like a hill billy lmao
