A 5 star movie. I grew up with these kind of movie. I watched a new pirate movie that was barley a 2 star.

The film’s opening theme was borrowed from Miklos Rozsa’s “Sahara”. Many B-movies practiced this.

Rather corny film and story.. but a different old type of film.

Eh the Good Old Days when Europeans could just turn up in someone else's homeland, murder the local men, rape and enslave the women and bring every known disease from Europe with them. Of course we call it 'progress' when in reality it was pure greedy colonialism.

Why does everybody look so short and fat? It's like watching a bunch of pigmys. It really makes the actors look silly and spoils the movie.

What a cool flick !. Spaniards killed anything in front of them in those days , all across South America and southern States. Natives dressed like dogs dinners. Illegible maps and more nice tarts than you could shake your stick at !. 😮😊 . Wonderfull ship models plying the waves and Alligators ready to make you a snack. 8 out of 11. Thanks all. Dave
