The issue in the video and for some cat owners is that they are over feeding their cats, and allowing them to free feed throughout the day and night. Don't do this! Feed your cat twice daily, and clean your bowls regularly because your cat could contract norovirus from the mice which makes them throw up, and get diarrhea. Cats aren't all good mousers either, I have two and only one of them seems to like hunting mice while the other has no interest and just watches them scurry about, the good thing is the presence of cats that keeps most mice away, and if they do decide to show up make sure your best mouser is nearby while you clear the area of any furniture or objects on the location of where you found the mouse hiding, because cats don't always kill their prey, they seem to play with it so you'll have to dispatch it yourself..

The sound I have is more of a random tapping or knocking. Almost like the sounds you'll hear when you drop something plastic on the floor. Ranges from a light sound to a heavy sound. I never hear gnawing or scratching though.
