I was in hospital for 33 days, the noise this machine makes is fucking insane, why did they design a machine to be so fucking annoying? I spent several hours listening to this hellspawns constant beeping
I'm an LPN and we use these! If possible I try to prime before putting the line into the pump because the sensors get screwy, I never use the priming feature
Great instructional video. Is this the worst pump ever? I love stacking nintendo sized pumps that get tangled easy as hell. Most inferior pump ever. Hospitals please set your nurses up for success and dont carry this monstrosity
Better than the Baxter that have a plug for each one. You can't stack them so you need an extension cord with multiple outlets and have cords for every pump
Thanks for this video… am in hospital with covid and fed up of having this machine yapping like a little dog because it’s finished and I have to wait for a nurse to finish her break and unhook me from the bloody machine. When you make another can you make it possible to silence it, it’s driving me insane and I just want to shut it up and concentrate on getting better. The nurses are immune to the noise now so it’s us that are effing suffering with the din.
Patient here, trying to learn how to troubleshoot this damn thing so i can turn the damn alarm off. You know what it feels like to be a patient giving the alarm off for HOURS? While you’re trying to sleep? While you’re trying to rest?
Braun: I work for Kaiser NW. We just switched over to your system. I do not know why and why kaiser put a penny into this. I wanted to personally let you know how much our nurses HAVE NOT enjoyed using your system. Your system sucks is more ways than I am going to say in this post. YOUR BRAUN IV PUMP SYSTEM SUCKS !!!!!!! Who ever designed it obviously has never worked in patient care and should not be making medical equipment. Do us all a big favor and discontinue your product immediately so another hospital system isnt tricked into buying your pathetic IV system it is not user friendly, creates a HOT MESS with its sideways tubing and is a sentinel event waiting to happen. Where do I begin? The library does not program the dose and the rate, the constant sir bubble alarms because of the sideways tubing and perhaps the best yet is the question "do you want to flush with 11cc" when the ever constant air buddle alarms go off. wow great idea with something like a insulin or heparin gtt. What was the person on who designed this? braun bad products die out and yours is sure to be on that list.
Being new to the Eagle Uni-Vent 754 I thought this was a very informative and very well explained demonstration. Thank you! Some of the best explanations of settings and why's that I've heard. Keep up the great work!
Peter Foster I know one, but it's not exactly the same like this one.. I'm looking for it as well. If I can't find a proper one, I might do it myself.. Ok, this is the one I knew from my uni..Hope this help..cs.swan.ac.uk/~cspo/ You could find it in "simulation"... Welcome any further discussion :)
OK. I NEED HELP VERY VERY BADLY. I need to know if there exists any known online simulator of this pump where I can simulate free simulation where I can basically simulate any of this pump's operation without a tutorial or walk through. basically this is non-guided simulator where I can choose any drug in the library, and do what I call free simulation. Is there any existing simulator online? PLEASE RESPOND ASAP. OK? This is a desperate call for help.
12 years later and this video is still so relevant to student nurses today
Thank you so much
How to give iv fluids stat
So you stop the piggy back, and then go back to primary and start the primary…. Now how do I know that my piggyback is still running -_-?
Before you go to your primary , piggy back must have finished

This pump is horrific
Oh don’t tell me that, I have to use it without any training except video in 2 days! Pray for me.
Literally all of ours are broken and say "air in line" for no reason or say the door is closed when it's not 💀
@@cheyennelafferty4801 😔 causing major delays in patient care.

Yes!!! I’m not the only one
As a nurse I'd rather you watch this than rip the IV out lol, I hope you're feeling better!! 💓

I will create one using articulate storyline.
Oh niiiiiice. Will it be free for me to access? Please!! I am desperate for a free infusion pump simulator.

Peter Foster I don't think there is a free online simulator Peter. I hope this helps you find some closure during this desperate, desperate time.
