First-Time Flying Cover Crop Seed with a Drone: Results & Insights
"This was my first experience using a drone to fly on cover crop seed, having previously used a plane with great success. The drone offers similar benefits but may provide greater accuracy, especially in fields with irregular shapes. Despite infrequent rain, the timely showers brought a good amount of moisture to help establish the cover crop. The video concludes with a shot of the field about two weeks after harvest, showcasing a strong stand of turnips."

Big Ash Round Splits w/Split Force 9T
Просмотров 9921 час назад
n this video, I’m tackling some massive 24-inch-plus Ash rounds, splitting them down with ease on a 72-inch-wide table that handles these beasts like a pro! You’ll see a mix of left, right, and overhead views to give you the full experience of the process. I’ve muted the engine noise to make it a bit easier on the ears and added some background music that I hope you’ll enjoy. You’ll notice I sp...
Cleaning Up Brush Piles

"🚜 Watch 2 hours of hard work in just 6 minutes! Clearing out a 1/4 mile of fence row is no small task, but with the power of a track hoe and some elbow grease. After the track hoe left, we tackled a massive brush pile one log at a time. This fast-paced time-lapse captures the action as we sort and stack to clear the way. Perfect for anyone who loves John Deere tractor loaders, Stihl chainsaws,...
Splittin' Big Elm
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.День назад
"Welcome back! Today’s project involves tackling some rather large Elm rounds that were left to season until the bark either fell off or was already starting to loosen. Letting them sit for a while made a huge difference, making the splitting process much easier. This is the second time I’ve used the Split Force 9-ton splitter, and I’m running it at about half to three-quarters throttle. It’s b...

Very nice splitter.
Thank you
When stacking into the totes,…leave it raised so that you won’t have to bend over to stack it.
That's a great idea. The concern I have is that the loader will "leak" down a bit too quick.
@ I hear ya on that. But, i wouldn’t worry about that.
That’s a nice splitter. I have a 9 with the atv tires on it. ( very tippy ). I would have bought this one if they offered it at the time. How are you liking the vertical splitting so far?
@@BradsDownOnTheFarmyou can also place two pallets down and set the tote on top of it. That’s what I do when I’m sorting and stacking into multiple totes.
I like it a it, way be that the way I was splitting. I'll do a video soon about my prior process.
That's a beautiful splitter sir
Thanks, more video to follow.
Looks like you got those rakers knocked down a little.
You may be right, I’m better at dulling the chain than sharpening it. Hopefully my skills will improve.
@ I just noticed how aggressively it was pulling your saw into the logs. I filed my rakers down on my 500i, and I could immediately tell that it was trying to suck my saw into the logs. I could tell that I had to use strength to hold it back whenever I would saw into smaller rounds that didn’t require the whole bar. I also noticed that it was more “sensitive” to adding pressure to cut with. I meant knocked down as in you may have filed them too low. It’ll make for an overly aggressive chain if they’re filed down too low.
