*proceeds to use end game gear* I think black knight is a very well designed boss, you should be mostly familiar with his moveset at that point in the game, as most of his attacks are the same as your's with slight differences. It allows you to use everything you've learned at that point in the game, as well as stuff that you didn't learn yet. A new player would probably ask: "Wouldn't it be cool if I could reflect his projectile?" and you can. That knowledge will be useful for the entire game and even if a new player doesn't try that, they are probably gonna ask a simmilar question on a different level (like king knights's stage). The fact that this boss is basically: the more you know about the game, the easier the fight is, is an amazing design for a tutorial boss.

I never did stay for the final logout, I think my subscription ended before the last few months left before shutdown, and I felt that I had done all I needed in the game, so that was enough closure for me, I actually made a tomb for my character and my last logout was in a Talus city I lived in on Chilastra. I somewhat wonder if I should have stuck around, but at the time I felt that I had given enough time to the game and didn't want to waste any more on what would eventually be gone within the next few months. In the end, it's all been said and done.
