    Was it the coil?? Bc I'm having the same problem ..if i drive my 2007 subaru Impreza non turbo 2.5l...for a lil while ...shut it off then come back and start it up after a lil while it hesitates to start

    • @pilgrimsgarage
      @pilgrimsgarage 14 дней назад

      The coil is on the passenger side of the engine. It’s actually pretty easy to change. It was the last thing I changed due to its appearance. It looked brand new. I’m guessing it was a knock off coil. Once that was replaced everything worked flawlessly.

      @@pilgrimsgarage i just had to redo my whole engine due to the timing belt snapping...what i didnt replace when i had the whole engine apart was the damn sensors and coil pack...i replaced everything else hoses spark plugs etc u get the picture..had to bring my heads to the machine shop bc of 4 bent valves due to timing belt breaking..i know u all this as well..man what a btch it was tightening the head bolts back to the engine just to crush the gasket...im sure u know as well....im going to do your test tomorrow night and see if its the same issue. glad you're still here. had my own work accident back in march. i work for a forklift company and had some racking collapse. ended up having about 30 batteries (1500-3500 pounds each) come falling down around me. ended up with the overhead guard on the forklift bent down around me and a battery sitting in the seat as i was jumping out, not a scratch on me though somehow. at least we lived to tell the tale. get well, enjoy the time off.

      You’re welcome. I know what you mean about John Deere, they have been less than supportive when it comes to maintenance. If you ever have a problem with the dpf they won’t even sell you the parts. What should’ve cost $289 cost me $1321. I’ve been trying to get a service manual for this tractor for some time. Once I get the information I need I’m going to make a bunch of videos on trouble codes and fixing them. They just won’t sell me one from JD. I’ve bought a few but they don’t have the information I want. Hopefully I will get some answers soon. Thanks again.

      @@pilgrimsgarage I had no idea JD wouldn't sell service manuals for your unit. I bought my 2925 around 2010 and at the time service manuals were available, though, not as helpful as I'd like. Seems like JD should have no problems selling a manual. I believe this would encourage sales when folks like you construct how-to videos to take the mystery out of simple diy repairs..
