We went to go up the sky garden but they said it was booked up by over a month! 🤯 Looked really cool though so will have to go next time I visit Singapore! Dude, Singapore’s Changi Airport is the GOAT and had been in the Number 1 Top Position for YEARS. OCCASIONALLY dropping to number 2 is simply just like an up-cycle or down-cycle to them. 😅

Yeah I did notice that it had dropped to number 2 but it is still incredible! And Shenzhen I didn’t realise had dropped by that many places. There must be a lot of competition between them all for the top spots which is why each one tries to make it better than the other! Never been to an Asian airport like it but it was stunning, like you said modern, clean, loads of stuff. Don’t think the Bristol airport I fly from a lot will ever be the same 😂 It is for sure the goat Callsign Blade Runner, nothing I have seen compared!

SZ airport had never been the No 1 airport before. used sz airport alot pre-covid , just look at their taxiway will do , too much FOD.

Haha yeah I don’t know why but I thought they would clear during the day and then in the morning there wouldn’t be many and the process repeats, didn’t realise so many would be there overnight, I think it’s because I’ve never seen anything like it o was so star struck 😂

Yeah it is a great one! Especially when the conditions are fine ☀️ Yeah I live the other side of Bristol and it’s nice and easy to get to on the ring road too! Yeah I can imagine it being a right struggle when it’s super windy and rainy 😂 Times drastically change! But yeah the perfect one to look straight forward and just run, you hit a point where you feel like you can run all day, then the end bit comes and your back in reality 😆

Yeah I completely agree with you. I would definitely fly with them again, no brainer like you said, we saved £300 to sleep on a plane and not use any of the entertainment anyway. I’m not a massive foodie either so I would eat anything 😂 Yep exactly, without airlines like these I wouldn’t be able to travel Asia like I am now 😊 Thanks for the comment!

This is good to know thanks for the comment. So my main rucksack going in hold is 40L and that was 8-9kg, then my hand luggage (15L) was almost 7kg. So should that be ok with most? I didn’t get stopped by Shenzhen Airlines or Scoot who I have flown with so far 😊 Useful stuff thanks 👍

@Sheppey10 the total limit for scoot and Singapore is 7kg. You got lucky. Check the size and weight limits for carry on for each airline. I have seen several people's trip ruined when they got measured and weighed at check in. Even worse I have seen people blow up when they get asked to check a bag at the gate. Just be careful and know the policy. Good luck

@jeffone ah ok thanks for letting me know! My carry on was just under so all good 😄. Yeah I will make sure to check from now on though as I don’t want to get caught out! Hey! Yeah it was more about if you are flying on a budget then this is the airline to take as the other airlines like British Airways, Qatar, Emirates, etc are double the price and more! So I was just trying to make that point rather than calling Shenzhen Airlines a budget airline 😄👍 Thanks for your comment though!

Sorry I don’t understand what you mean, you’ve compared two completely different locations, I’m comparing flights from Heathrow to Singapore. I’ve just looked up cheapest flights from Heathrow to Singapore and it says Shenzhen, China Eastern Airlines and Air China are all budget options as they have a layover. Otherwise you can fly with BA and Quanta’s not on a budget and get there direct. Shenzhen with a layover was the cheapest option for getting to Singapore and so we took that as we are on a budget 👍

Budget airlines refer to airlines like Ryanair that do not offer meals, in-flight entertainment, checked luggages of any sort. By no means is Shenzhen Airlines a luxury premium carrier yet, but labeling this Star Alliance member a budget airline is simply ridiculous. Regardless, great video and keep up the good work!
