I am just an ordinary girl. I love being outdoors in the quiet with the birds, animals, smells and sounds of the woods.
Each time out is filled with whispers of wisdom and lessons… and JOY! So I share. ❤️ I create these posts not just for me, but in hopes that they reach someone who needs them. For whatever reason…. Even if for only a little smile on a rough day.
My other channel is Nature Lover @ReturnToNature927. That is where I post all of my hiking/ birds/ wildlife and nature content… BUT I cannot access it due to my phone crashing and losing all my passwords etc! I am currently working to recover that channel.
Til then I will post HERE on my personal channel for you 😊.

This woodpecker type bird pecks on my windows every morning I hate it.
It’s funny, I haven’t seen my red bellied woodpeckers coming to my deck for peanuts in a long time until this week, they showed up again! ❤

This was the most incredible display of a flamboyant mating dance by sand hill cranes that I have ever witnessed. In mid September - unheard of! Second time I’ve seen it! Why do you suppose they are doing this? Ideas? Explanations? Theories welcome!

@@makeracistsafraidagain he did, and he is little! I don’t know if you are familiar with the size of a titmouse, but they’re so small. Their beaks are tiny! ☺️Usually only the woodpeckers take them! I was so surprised! 😁

Im fro the South, one day I was watching a duck on the lack amd he suddenly went under butt first. Im mean straight down. Gator got him like a scary movie. Tbat sucker was..and then he wasnt.
That’s the only sad thing about nature, it is not always kind. I see those things occasionally too but try to forget them…. 🙃

It totally does. To hear the great blue heron babies in spring while being fed is even more like it! They sound like pterodactyls !

@@queensparkranger awe, that’s so sweet! I always wonder if you recognize the trail I am on, even if it’s totally green and different than when you were here. The leaves are already beginning to change. So it will be a different world…. Again!

@@Taylor_the_birder I haven’t seen him up close in a couple weeks. Missing him a lot. I hope he’s ok. It’s been very hot here, they tend to go to the deep woods and I haven’t hiked those trails lately due to rattlesnakes …. Thank you for asking Taylor! He has been on my mind a lot. I try calling him every time I go. 😞

Some days I wish I could feel less…. It’s a painful thing to be an HSP .
I’m very sensitive. My family doesn’t understand me. I’m 62 Scorpio ♏️ Empath.
I get it. Up until recently, I always believed that being a highly sensitive person was a bad thing, because I was always either yelled at and being told “you’re too sensitive!”Or I had to be told to me in a derogatory manner, and some still do say it like that. In my opinion, the world needs more of us. We see and feel all of the beautiful things that most of the population ignores and walks by.❤️
